My experience at Bubbakoo's Burritos can be summed up in one word: "meh." As a devoted Qdoba fan who always gives Chipotle the side-eye, I was expecting a similar vibe here. Boy, was I wrong. The photos online had me drooling, but let's be real, menu photos are like dating profile pics—rarely accurate.

I thought Bubbakoo's would be the cool cousin of Qdoba and Chipotle, throwing in those toppings we've all secretly wished for. But nope. While they do offer a nice variety of proteins, the toppings were just... mid. And those sauces? Served at room temperature from squirt bottles, just like at Subway. Nothing like a lukewarm squirt to spice up your meal, right?

One thing I love about Qdoba is that their burritos are warm and cozy, like a food hug. At Bubbakoo's, the only warm ingredients were the beans and protein. I was disturbed, concerned, confused and disappointed that I had to respectfully request the restaurant staff to wash their hands prior to touching the gloves used to prepare my food. This resulted in them being disgruntled, which resulted in me feeling awkward. I do not understand why people think it is ok to not wash your hands before touching gloves that is going to touch people’s food. If your hands are dirty, and you do not wash your hands, whatever is on your hands will be transferred to the gloves, then transferred to the customer’s food. Later that evening, I received an email from a restaurant representative thanking me for the positive review. I gave no such review. This is the first review I am giving.
