I was treated differently then the other customers who were not of color. I arrived prior to the store opening. Other customer and waiting for the doors to open. The store opened a few minutes late. When the young finally opened the door, I greeted her with a "good morning"and she did not respond. Once entering the store, I started that I would like to exchange some paper for a different weight and ask what the paper was. She delayed her respond. Once I found what needed, I returned to the service desk to complete my transaction. I had also picked up a few more things. As I'm waiting on her to process the exchange, she asked "are you getting that stuff too?" I replied, "yes ma'am", "but I'm waiting to see the difference in the exchange." She says that she refunded the previous purchase and that it would go back to the card. I stated that was not that I asked to do. She stated that's what she did as if didn't that she didn't comply to my request. If I need this stuff for a family funeral, I would have left this store. Read moreCustomer service is pretty much null and void. Indifferent and impersonal. Just visited this location today and was met with absolutely no concern for the fact that I might have a little difficulty in maneuvering through the self service device. By the way, other than the person she was holding a conversation with, there was absolutely no other customer in the area. To me, that exhibited where her priorities lie. Incidentally, this is not the first time I've experienced this at this location or this chain. Priority is definitely not the customer. Where oh where has interpersonal communication and customer...
Read moreI went in looking for some labels for medical folders and passed by two employees a few different occasions. One looked like a manager type and the other was scanning things. Neither of them not once acknowledged I was there or asked if I needed assistance. I could not find what I needed so I decided to go up front and ask the front desk and they also ignored me and finally one of the two employees that were at front desk acted as if I was bothering them and asked if they could help me. I told what I needed. Said if it’s not in this aisle we don’t have it. I have worked in retail for most of my life and this was not good customer service as a whole. Needs major improvement. But if the guy in the Navy shirt was a manager and said nothing to me I get why the employees were they way they were. Lead by example and set your...
