Where my job is located I am in between 3 Jersey Mikes. All of them are about 2 miles from me, the furthest being 3 miles. Every other weekend we cater from Sandwich shops and on 9/24 we catered from this establishment ($482) but after todays event, I can assure you that we will no longer use this location. I placed an order for 2, yes TWO subs for pickup, I only did pick up bc I needed to make customized selections to them, but I placed the order at 10 something to pick up at 11:30. I walk in and one guy is working the front finishing checking someone out and then asks how he can help, I said I am here to pick up my order, gave him my name & he looked around then checked again asked my name again and then he printed a receipt and said give me a minute. He walks to the back & 2 more employees walk out. I said to him I placed this order about 2 hours ago and he said yea well I wasn't here 2 hours ago. Not a single employee said we are sorry for the over sight, did not hold them self accountable, nothing. When he printed my receipt about 4 other printed so I can only assume those are online orders that are needing to be made and just sitting, meanwhile you have employees sitting around in the back doing nothing. I only came for pick up like I said bc of a certain way to make a sandwich and they still messed it up, I had to correct it before they wrapped it up. Once again, not a simple oh I am sorry. Nothing. They are there to do a job, if they don't like it, they should quit. The man out front was a younger man mid 20's with tattoos on his face, the 2 from the back one was a black woman with long braids and the other was a man with reddish hair and a beard. Read moreI am not one for leaving bad reviews, especially for local businesses. But management at this store needs to wake up and pay attention.
This is hands down the worst Jersey Mike's I've ever been to. We've given it multiple chances since we moved to the area 2 yrs ago. No matter how you order (online, to go, eat in), they will mess it up. Last time my husband actually drove all the way back (20 mins round trip) because they gave us a sandwich with just meat and cheese on it. They didn't even offer a credit or remake the whole sandwich, they just unwrapped, added what was missing to the original, and handed it back.
The bread here is consistently terrible. It's hard like a crostini and the top flakes off like shale. I don't know what the corporate recipe for bread is but they're not following it here.
The employees don't know the menu or what comes on the sandwiches by default. "Mike's Way" isn't a substitution for mayo, bacon, lettuce, and the other "normal" toppings. Be prepared to watch carefully as they prepare your order and to correct it multiple times.
The employees are painfully slow. Today we waited 15 minutes while they made and rang up a single Giant 9. We were the only customers in the store.
They employees cannot pack the sandwiches in the bag properly. The bottom of the sandwich was not wrapped fully, so half of it ended up falling out the back of the bag, saturating it and spilling all over the counter when I unsheathed it. The only good thing about this review is that I worked the word "unsheathed" into a sentence.

Read moreI tried to order through ubereats and waited over an hour for them to just cancel it after saying delayed. I tried to contact the store but no answer at all. Then I ordered through the website and it took yet another hour to finally get here. When I finally got the big kahuna sandwich it looked like i got a quarter of the meat you usually get on it and it was smashed like someone was angry about having to fulfill the order.
UPDATE - I gave them another shot to try to be fair about updating to a beter review but unfortunately they still have almost 2 hour delays in online delivery orders and it looks like they made the food and let it sit there to the point the meat was that crispy dry texture and taste. Also put the wrong cookie from order. Tied to get it somewhat at least rectified and clarified but they do not answer their phone and the GM did try the first time but it kind of feels like it was just to get me to change my review since this is twice they missed the mark.
P.S. I would highly recommend going to a different Jersey Mikes that will not just grab your money and then throw you out the door once they have it. Most of the employees there do not care past getting a free paycheck and you will notice lots of dirty spots/stains, lack of customer service, lack of communication, and the big one they will not care how your order is done 75% of the time.
