Authentic food, great value, very pleasant staff! I took my GF here for a Tuesday night out around 5pm. I was surprised to hear about the Taco Tuesday special because I didn’t see that on the website leading up to it. As we sat at the table, we were greeted and complementary salsa and chips were provided that were perfect. We ended up ordering everything off the happy hour menu and we were not disappointed. I got the Al Pastor tacos (3 per order) which were delicious and well sized and my girlfriend got the Mexican pizza which her and I both very much enjoyed and we had leftovers to take home. The drinks were very tasty and super affordable, it’s really hard to beat a four dollar margarita! The food and drinks both arrived in a reasonable time. As for dessert, the flan was exceptional and is ranked in my all-time top five favorite Mexican desserts ever! We had a 3 drinks, 2 dishes and 1 desert and the bill was about $50. I found this to be exceptional value for LA based prices that were used to. Our server was super nice and attentive. The bathrooms are clean, although they did kind of stink, and I did notice that the floors were somewhat sticky in multiple locations throughout the Restuarant inside. We would 100% come back to this restaurant and highly recommend it!

I want to say my husband and I have been coming to Acapulco's in Glendale for the past 4 months. Once we discovered I will be deploying in the U S Air Force soon we wanted to plan a special night for the 2 of us. We didn't plan on Carlito, a bartender here who treats us like family we look forward to our date nights, it's seems every week brings a added treat. We have enjoyed our limited time together before I'm overseas but also the customer service of our favorite bartender Carlito. We also look forward to coming back from my deployment location to return to our favorite spot Acapulco's Glendale. Anyone who enjoys great service and food this is the place to be. My husband and I look forward to resuming our date nights right here upon my return. Thank you team for the excellent employees and service you offer. From the Butler Family

During our five-day vacation in California in early April 2025, my wife and I stayed at a nearby hotel. On our first night, we asked the concierge for local dining recommendations, and he suggested Acapulco. It was just a short two-block walk, so we strolled over and I’m so glad we did. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were a great value, and the service was genuinely attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up dining there three out of our five nights. A quick tip: check out their daily specials. Even though the prices are low, the portions remain impressively large. Acapulco was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

My family and I have been coming here since before I was born so that is over 35 years, this exact location. Unfortunately, today was the worst service experience we have ever received. Our server made it extremely difficult to order a chimichanga of all things, we asked if it came with beans and rice and see continued to tell us "just like I said" when we asked the question then she went and asked her manager and came.back and said "just like I said" once more - - the chimichanga did not have any beans or rice. We received the fajita gigante our facorite and it was delicious but our server had disappeared when we asked for another round of margaritas (just two). After ten minutes we aked another server where our server had gone too and if wr could also get plates, we were told rudely by another server that she was busy despite her secrion and other tables being where we sat.

It was at this time we realized we were not going to see her for awhile so we asked a food runner who was increibly nice for plates and he brought them. It was at this time the manager whose job is to diffuse any argumentative situation came up to my family and said the waitress felt uncomfortable and was feeling attacked and pulled another server into our section to help us. When i personally and calmly asked "how?" To his ridiculous statement that the server felt attacked and did tnot answer my question when i asked again "how did we attack her" we only ordered a fajita gigante three margaritas and chimichaga (party of 3) but the manager just said she told me he didnt let us respond. On our way out we asked why the service was so bad and the manager again said we had "attacked the waitress" i calmly told them that is a terrible word to use especially when this was not the case at all. The manager got snappy and sarcastically said yes it was all the servers fault and not yours and we said that this bad service is not going to help them going forward and he contined to be even more rude whispering under his breathe saying "i appreciate you"

Now i am not sure who this manager was but he certainly exasperated the situation and this will be our last time ar this eatablishment. The food was great but the rude service and baseless accusation ruined our appetites for good. We will not be returning and the manager didnt seem to care, that is not how to run a business. Our family were looking forward to coming for days and now that will no longer be the case. Inhope the next manager uses better judgement then tonaccuse guests using such...

My husband and I decided to get Acapulco for our New Year dinner big mistake. We usually go to this location for lunch and if we do go back it will only be for lunch. Although I have to say I was disappointed this time with the Hostess to the manager on duty as well. I ordered to go and when I got my order I had to ask for everything because they didn’t give me my order correct and they omitted a few things. First when I got there the hostess was not very friendly at all. When I told the manager that my order was wrong and I asked for a different side, he said I don’t know, I have to ask. I looked at him confused as I told him this is my order I know what I ordered and this was not it. He then realized what he said and grabbed my sides and said ok I will change it. I ordered chips and salsa and at first they said that my order came with salsa and chips they told me that since I bought some they don’t give me the extra salsa or chips. I thought that was odd. On top of it all I did not get utensils, napkins and I also didn’t get my tortillas. I almost forgot I also asked for the sauce that comes with the fajitas for the shrimp and the hostess tells me there’s no such thing. At least the manager knew what I was speaking about and brought that to me. I do have to say this was the worse experience I had at this Acapulco and to top it off my taco was soggy, the steak was too salty, the chips were stale and I think we got the bottom of the chips because a lot of them were tiny chips. The only friendly nice person I ran into that night was the gentleman at the bar who gave me water. The day crew is so much better I will never go again at night and I may not return anymore. This experience really changed my mind about one of our favorite restaurants. Plus I do believe we will do Red Lobster Next New Years. I should have gone...

So I'd never been here and decides to go here for Mother's day on 5/8/22. Had reservations for 230 We were seated at 245. We were seated and that was it. No waitress came to our table to welcome us or bring us water or go over the menu or any kind of greeting. The table all around is were getting serviced. It wasn't until I asked one of the waitress at another if we would be getting serviced. She said she thought we were. Finally she takes our drink. Order and finally our waitress takes our food order. She said she would comp is guacamole for our wait. 5 minutes later guacamole comes out with no chips, we waited and waited but no chips. A little bit after that our food comes out. We were ready to eat but no utensils were brought with our food. Again we waited and waited. I tried to flag down a waiter, waitress someone but there was none in sight. I got looked around the restaurant to see where I could find some utensils I had to go to this little cooking area to find forks and knives. By the time we started eating food was cold.i complained to the Manager she apologized and asked if there was anything she could do. Said she would would.bring a box for.the chipless guacamole we never got to eat. Five minutes later she still hadn't come back. We just up and left. No one even tried to make us stay. It was the most unpleasant experience I've ever.had dining out. No one cared all this on mother's day. This place has no idea how to...
