Ok - I've been coming here for 5 years. I've never complained about their food until NOW. I ordered their Sweet chili wings and were surprisingly disappointed. Hardly any sauce on the wings and dry. After picking up my order I was heading to work. I discovered this when I had my lunch hour and not right away. I couldn't call Barros to make them aware of my disappointment due to being at work. I own my own business and when one of my customers brings something to my attention I make it right. If they ask for a refund we talk about it and work it out - especially good customers. I've been a good customer even tip the girls each time and they wouldn't even consider the idea of a refund because I didn't call that same day. I can see somewhat their point - but because I never complain I felt I have a good track record - especially after 5 years of continued patronage. Take a look at the picture. . . I ordered 12 wings - where's the sauce? And that was for 12 wings. We were so hungry we did eat 6 of them but couldn't eat the rest - they were too dry without much sauce at all. That's not what wings are supposed to look or taste like. When something is brought to my attention I do whatever I can for my customers - we're talking 12 wings - not hundreds of $$$. The manager didn't take the call - just kept relaying the message thru his girls. I'm so surprised there was no effort to even listen to what I had to say - no offer to make it right, no coupon for a future visit, no "come in and we'll make it right because we can see your history with our restaurant" NOTHING.
After 5 years of eating here I decided to post due to the "no care" attitude. I'll order wings at Oggi's just down aways from them. I'll take my business where it's appreciated and not taken for granted.
Unfortunately they won't miss one customer but eventually with this attitude one customer becomes 2 and so on. . . YOU NEVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED that you'll always have business. You can have it all one day and loose it the next. It's 10 times harder to get a new customer than to retain the one you...
Read moreI went to the location at 67th and the 101 and ordered in the store for a to go order. A young lady took my order and right when she swiped my card, the system went blank. I immediately checked my online bank account and the charge was there for almost $40,00. I was told that the order did not go through but the charge would drop off in a few days and that the order needed to be placed again which it was and I was charged again. I waited 4 days to make sure and the initial charge never dropped off . I called the store and spoke with Justin. He advised that he could see the duplicate charge but there was in fact only one food order. He was unable to credit it back to my account and stated that he would send it to corporate. I agreed and waited a few more days and watched for the charge to fall off. It never did and I called Justin back. He again stated that it would have to contact corporate so that Joe could fix it. I tried calling corporate myself multiple times. There are only 3 extensions and no one ever answers. It was an honest mistake when it duplicate charge occurred. The issue is no one will fix it and I never got my money back from Barro's. Justin even asked if I would like them to call me when the refund was processed. I was trying to save them a chargeback fee. When I never heard back, I called my bank and initialed the chargeback. If there is a fee, oh well. I tried. Pay with cash if you go there. We used to go a lot but there but not any longer. There are many other pizza businesses close by . Apparently, they don't run an...
Read moreBarro's is our go to pizza spot. 90% of the time we get our order just as it was ordered. The other 10% is when the order gets to our house, and then the driver leaves and we realize they forgot the Buffalo Sauce and Ranch for the wings. Or, we order the sauce on the side and it gets here and the sauce is on the wings instead of on the side. We have kids who like the wings, but they don't want the sauce, just plain wings. That's why we order the sauce on the side.
Anyway, 90% of the time our order is prepared and delivered perfectly. The other 10% is orders that are incorrect. But I can say that any time our order has been messed up, Barro's has made it right.
One night the food was delivered and I noticed after the driver left that they forgot the sauce for the wings. So I called them and told them and they said they would send the sauce out but it would be an hour and a half because they were super busy. That was kind of a huge inconvenience and disappointment because we had to wait almost another 2 hours after our food was delivered to even eat it.
But all in all, we still eat Barro's at least once a month...
