My wife and I visited the Carl’s Jr. at 1124 W Glenoaks Blvd in Glendale, CA (Store 1100258), today (November 14, 2021) at approximately 12:32pm. There were several problems at this location. Firstly, the two bathrooms were locked, both men’s and women’s. There was a line waiting for the bathroom, and when I inquired with the only staff member visible to any of us named, “Silva,” she curtly said that someone was in the men’s bathroom, and that the women’s bathroom was not working. Upon closer inspection while standing behind the other five people in line for the bathroom, I noticed that while the men’s bathroom had one of those coded locks on the door, the women’s bathroom didn’t. I realized then that the staff at this Carl’s Jr. have no intention of letting customers use the women’s bathroom, and that they have it locked only for themselves. Secondly, after waiting for about five minutes for the men’s bathroom to open, which it never did, I went back up to the counter and asked “Silva” if she was sure someone was in the men’s bathroom. This time she changed her answer and said that she didn’t know if there was or not, and then reluctantly gave me the lock code for the door. When I entered it, no one was in the bathroom, and I let the three women and two children in one by one ahead of me since they had been in line first. The staff is very inattentive at this location. It’s strange that it took me, a customer, to finally get all six people (including myself) into the bathroom. Another issue at this location was that there were no napkins, straws, or condiments whatsoever placed out for the customers to use. The counter that is normally used for this purpose was completely barren. Also, there was trash on the floor on the customer side of the ordering counter, and many of the tables had clearly not been wiped down for a long period of time before we had arrived. It took us to walk almost all the way to the rear of the dining are to find a table that was not covered in food, grease, or fingerprints. Lastly, I found that “Silva,” the only customer service person present at the ordering counter, who was also providing drive through service was rushed and curt to me. When placing my debit card into the reader after ordering our burgers and nothing was happening, I asked her if the card needed to be swiped instead or if there was another problem. She harshly said in Spanish, which I don’t speak, what I believed to be indicating to swipe the card on the side of the reader. This locations desperately needs to have further customer service training. The difference between how a restaurant such as In N Out treats customers, and how Carl’s Jr Glendale treats customers is so contrasting that it’s almost unfair to make...

Hands down the BEST Carl's Jr. We've ever been to (we just moved to Glendale and have been here 3 times in 2 days now). The food is FRESH and cooked to order (as it should always be), the ingredients taste fresh and high quality, and the workers are all FANTASTIC and extremely friendly here and seem to love their job (as it should be). We basically tried everything on the menu these past 3 days just to see if the quality and consistency is there for everything and depending on the day, and every single time the food was FRESH and HOT made to order. It didn't matter what time or what day we went, the service was always EXCELLENT!!!
So far Guadalupe, Ilhan, and Marlene have served us and all 3 of them were so kind, attentive, and very positive and uplifting. We just moved to Glendale from Santa Monica and the Carl's Jr. In Santa Monica was one of the WORST locations we've ever been to, we almost gave up on them altogether.
We had to move on March 1st (it was a last minute emergency move) and had been moving all day 7am-5am and didn't have time to eat until we saw this Carl's Jr. Was open 24hrs (we got there around 4:30am. We decided to take a chance since we were so hungry and we are so happy we did.
We were greeted with Guadalupe's happy positive voice at the drive-thru and the rest is history.
Thank you so much to the entire staff, you're all amazing and ended a long terrible day of moving on a very positive note for us. You all deserve a raise! You have more than earned our loyalty as customers and we will see you very...
Read moreI came in here for breakfast on a Sunday about two hours after the dining room had opened. There was only one other customer in the restaurant and business seemed slow. I ordered a biscuit sandwich and the breakfast grilled cheese. The biscuit was undercooked, cheese not melted and still cold, and the “grilled” cheese looked like it hadn’t even seen a grill. I returned the sandwich asking if they could actually grill it for me and I was told it would be a while because the grill hadn’t been warmed up. Two hours into being open and you still aren’t fully operational? A few minutes later, one of the two women working brings me not a new sandwich but the one I returned. Still not grilled. Just squished together by something to melt the cheese. Didn’t finish either sandwich I ordered. Very disappointed considering I had been here for dinner a couple weeks before and had excellent service and good food. Going to have to seriously consider whether I want to return here.
Oh....about ten minutes before I left, one of the women exited the store. I thought maybe she’s taking food to a car waiting outside. She still hadn’t come in when I left. Well that’s because she was hanging...
