Simplee Boba Montrose — Restaurant in Glendale

I bought a Honeydew smoothie with boba and I exited with my friend. when we began walking, I drank it and tasted very tiny pieces of plastic (?) and I thought it only had a little. I continued drinking and tasted even more. I drank less than 1/25 of my drink and I already threw it away. The employees might be stressed because it was during Oktoberfest, but my friend's drink didn't have any plastic. Some plastic might've fallen in when it was put in the machine to seal the cup, but it was rock hard. I usually love BobaLoca but this time it did me wrong. Music is far too loud. Makes you feel like you are in a club instead of enjoying an organic drink. Gave me a headache and couldn't even hear the staff to order. They look at you crazy when you ask to lower the music even though you can't hear to order. So, probably a good place for teenagers except it is not in an average teenage budget. The smoothie was fair but nothing to write home about. It wasn't completely blended. They advertise Brick Toast on a huge sign which brings you in but they do not even carry it. Quick, casual Boba stop. I love that they offer freshly brewed, unsweetened teas. The Açaí Bowl is delicious! Mikki (forgive the spelling as I’m not sure if this is correct) is always super helpful, friendly and provides amazing service. I’m often in a hurry and usually just pop in to pick up a to-go order.
