Read moreI never write reviews. Today I had to. This was the worst patisserie I’ve been to in the city. And I’ve tried them all. Why this place has the fanfare it does is beyond me! Just because it has some Instagramable “ Mille-feuille” -esq looking cookie cake thing that is absolutely flavorless?! This dive is sub par, low quality Albertsons cakes/bakery items. Albertsons probably tastes better. It is not worth your hard earned dollars. The black forest cake is absolutely flavorless, the cake doesn’t taste like anything - literally! It should taste like rich chocolate. It’s the farthest thing from that. Fell totally flat. The cherries used aren’t fresh, they’re maraschino which is very unoriginal, with dyed flavorless cream. Yuck! If you want desserts that taste like bland flour and sugar, please waltz into this joint. The Patachou pastry on the eclairs - we tried 3 - were hard as a rock, as if it was sitting overnight stale. This was the most offensive part of the experience. There’s no way these were fresh. There is zero skill in this slop they called desserts. It’s so upsetting bc good desserts are not hard to do! There is zero finesse or skill or creativity. This is a pure money grab with shiny polished interior and an under delivered product. There’s nothing worse than that. There are much better places to spend your time and money. Furthermore, the person behind the counter today 10/7/2025 was not knowledgeable at all about what an entremet was nor could they tell me what was inside of each item. SHAMEFUL! Wast of time and money. Never go here. Celebrities aren’t the mark of things that taste good, just fyi. Gordon, Kim, you’re out of your minds if you think...
Read moreNice looking little shop. Has many different types of pastry. Had the strawberry and a tea cup one with berries. They are not overly sweet which is nice and the cream is really good. However, the flavoring of strawberry is very very faint. They definitely need to work on increasing the flavor of the item. Not adding more sugar, the sugar level is perfect but the flavor level is lacking. They use alot of white chocolate, which Im not a fan of but there are other items without that. The toppings on the tea cup were not edible other than the cloud and fruit so that was disappointing. The latte was really bland, not much flavor. Probably go back and try some different items without white chocolate. Overall not bad but they do need to bump the flavoring up without adding more sweetness. The cookie base on the strawberry was also flavorless so definitely an area they can improve on. Especially at $8 plus each item but willing to try some other items. The decor is really cute and...
