I love this Rubio's Location. The staff is awesome, the food amazing, the dining room as clean as can be, the bathrooms are clean, you can see enough into the kitchen to see it's clean (well I can see into the kitchen cause I'm 6' 3"), they also have an outdoor patio which is nice with misters during summer months. They do serve a small variety of alcoholic beverages including bottled beer, it's not like a bar, very limited options, but perfect for casual dining. I find the menu had healthier options at decent prices, it is more expensive then a drive-thru, but typical prices for casual fast food, definitely get your dollars worth due to the high quality and very flavorful options. Totally fresh and delicious. I really do love Rubio's, I don't eat it often cause the closes location to my home is 12 miles away, but I would eat it 3-4 nights a week if I lived closer. Actually when I worked near this location I ate there almost daily on my lunch breaks. I can't find anything I don't like about this location, other than that they do have a sign asking you to wear a mask, every though I extremely disagree with disgusting masks, I do believe a business should be able run their business as they wish, I also think it's important to include whether or not a business requires a mask because there are people who will only go to businesses that do require masks, therefore these things are important to them. Read moreThis Rubio's desperately needs franchise review. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE EVER WITH THIS LOCATION. The service was beyond terrible. We've had two horrible experiences recently with them. First off, we ordered online, waited 10 minutes per the time showed up, and the JUST started to make the food. The second time, my wife went to pick up the food, the person behind the counter dropped the food, forcing the grill to re-cook it again.
After recooking it, they placed the food back onto the serving table, and my wife asked if that was the food and was ignored, 10 minutes later, after the food was cold, the person who dropped the food originally finally checked and realized it was for the to go mobile order he had dropped before. After this, and frustrated by waiting 25 minutes on an online order placed 40 minutes ago, now with the food cold, my wife complained to the service to the management.
The response "oh I'm sorry, too bad" in short. No compensation, a half hearted apology for terrible customer service. I gave it 2 stars because the food has always been quality so props to the cooks. This happened on 4/5/2019 at around 6:45 - 7:10 pm, in case a manger or someone who actually cares looks into it. Consider laying off the current manager or training them to deal with a customer complaints to at least care about it even if they don't compensate. Won't be back to...
Read moreSunday Oct 20th walked in around 8pm and was stared down by staff at front counter and in the kitchen. I was not greeted at all or asked to have my order taken. Myself and my spouse were just stared at as we approached the counter and were just stared at as we waited to have our order taken. I eventually had to ask to have my order taken. I actually love the food here but I will NOT tolerate being treated as if my business is unwanted. So needless to say I did not purchase anything because I do not like being treated as if my business and my hard earned means nothing. I don't expect the young people working at the time to understand this but maybe this will reach management and you guys can educate your staff especially the young staff on how to conduct business and how to value your own customers.
