The Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Glendora

I went to try out this cool ice cream shop in old town Glendora. I walk in and they have a great selection of flavors! The only issue was the service. Very, very poor customer service skills from one of the female staff present at closing. I got the sense she didn’t really care to attend to me. She seemed to care more about closing up shop and putting things away. I really wish employees like this would be mindful that a great customer experience is a critical piece of what makes a business thrive. Hopefully the owners will notice this review and help the employees be more understanding that just because it’s close to closing time doesn’t mean you should be rude...

Had my first & last visit here today. My friend & I wanted a pint of the seasonal pumpkin ice cream. Apparently you can’t get a tasting of a flavor you might like. I was told also I could only get a cone or scoops of pumpkin. Then the girl proceeded to show me an empty pint container that she could not fill for me ! There was ample pumpkin ice cream in the big drums in the case I pointed out to her. Apparently the pints are only prefilled at the factory and the ones in the freezer were already spoken for. I was very surprised at this bad service & just left. One star because the shop was very clean ! Just a weird...

The mint chip ice cream (which I had the chance to taste because my 5-year-old is a very sharing boy) was exceedingly creamy. I could tell from one bite that the highest quality ingredients are used and that the establishment does not waste time on less than superior selections.
