Was really excited to try this "new" Delco place. Staff was very friendly, and graciously granted our request for a "coarse chop" on the steak, and that it be seasoned. But unfortunately, even though it was not busy when we arrived, attention to detail sorely lacked. The pictures tell the story. A LITTLE bit of edge on a roll is acceptable, but it's not THAT hard to ensure the contents of a sandwich meet the ends of the roll. Meat and cheese were uneven so some bites were VERY cheesy (and with Cooper Sharp, that means overwhelmingly so.) Some had NO cheese. This should all be blended on the flattop. As for the pork, it was very herbal (but you'd better love sage.) That's a Mastracola thing, and it's good pork. Moist, but not OVERBOARD. I think some au jus on the side would add a lot to the experience, but so would some more meat... Take a look at the picture. For us, it was a side dish, but had it been my only sandwich ??? I'd have been a bit upset. Corropolese rolls are a cut above Amoroso, so if that's your bellwether, you'll be very pleased. If you're a Sarcone's / Carangi fan .. not so much. I really wish them the best, as they're just starting out. Thet may do great in that part of Delco, but any expectations of competing with JRP, Angelo's, Johnny's Pizza or others of that tier are going to require some...

So I have to say, living in Philadelphia, I’ve eaten at most of the cheesesteak places around- and I’ve always ranked the top 5 accordingly. 3 have stayed in the top ranking for a long time. But it’s time for a new place to hold a ranking in the top hierarchy. Philips Steaks has always had my heart, but today Prime has taken that spot at the top. And let me explain why; the restaurant itself super clean, bathroom, super clean tables spotless secondly, the staff, over-the-top, friendly, and nice checked in on us during our meal. See if we were good & added those little touches to everything from placing the order to the speediness of getting it out. Thirdly, it was served piping, hot, huge portions. Delivered to the table outstanding presentation as you can see from the photo. Lastly, the actual food itself is just like biting into a slice of heaven. The fries were cooked perfectly with a little crisp on themX the seated buns were toasted but ever so lightly Liz was insane and a shot on this fake self makes it easy to eat and manage. Top-notch you gotta try this place. Delco’s...

My Brother and I just so happened to be going past this is establishment. My brother decided he wanted to get something to eat. We went inside ordered, I was using my card and for some weird reason my card wasn’t working. I was surprised because I just used it at the Walmart down the street. The man behind the counter was so patient along with another man who appeared that he worked there also. To the point where the 2nd young man offered to pay for Our food. I thought that was extremely nice. I didn’t take him up on it because I know I had cash on me, but just a thought that he would do that really really touched my heart. I just moved in this area due to my disability. Bottom line, this will be my go to place for now on. Needless to say, my cheese steak was very tasty and fresh not overly cooked to the point where the meat was dry and it was very filling and that says a lot to me because due to my disability, my taste buds were somewhat compromised. More people and Establishments should be like this. Blessings to you guys and...

Been hearing a lot about this spot so the day was the day to see what it’s hittin for. I live about 15-20 mins away. Got there, not busy at all. Wonderful woman at the corner helped place my order. Cheesesteak, fries and cheesesteak eggrolls= about $30. Got home. Still nice and hot. Packaging was good. Presentation looks tasty. The eggrolls was cool. My daughter liked them so no complaints there. Fries were tasty. Taste like those good bar fries and those are my favorite. Now that cheesesteak…delicious!!!!!!!! That cooper sharp cheese is nicely balanced throughout the whole sandwich. Each bite my eyes rolled to the back of my head 🤤🥴. The hype is worth it. All of us are always on a quest for a good cheesesteak. I know I found it at this spot. Don’t wait to check it out, just go!!!!

We were out looking for a great cheesesteak, and we found what we were looking for! As tourists in the area, we wanted to avoid long waits but really didn’t want to compromise on quality. This is one of those where the outside makes you wonder if it’s a hidden gem or not. Great news, they’re a hidden gem! The service was prompt, friendly, and accurate. We actually were helped by not just the woman at the counter but another person who could have been a cook but I suspect was the manager/owner? He was working in both areas and was also attentive and friendly. The food hit the spot. The bread was delish as was the meat, cheese, and peppers/onions. Don’t skip out on it! Could easily see this being served at a higher end place and being charged $40 for two sandwiches.

Different Cheesesteak #1172. The meat is the most important part of a cheesesteak and Prime Steaks uses very good meat. - Sidebar - if you want to argue it’s the grill person and/or the role of the roll, we can do that on my ‘Cheesesteak Stories Podcast.’ - $14 so it’s not the biggest cheesesteak. You can buy extra meat. Very good roll. I get mushrooms on my cheesesteak because good mushrooms complement good meat. The mushrooms needed more grill time (so did most of the onions). Most of the cheese was on the bottom. It sounds nit picky but this is very close to being a top tier cheesesteak.
