Antonino's Pizza — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

So we used to order from here all of the time. After tonight; we will not going forward. Tonight we ordered a Stromboli and a panzarotti - among other things. After eating the panzarotti I began to feel ill. I mentioned to my family it seemed awfully “doughy”. My mom gets a little freaked out with things like this so she cut open the Stromboli.. inside of it was raw dough that hasn’t been cooked. We were disappointed.

Side note: there has been other instances before that we’ve had issues and called them in, with no real resolution. Once in the crispy chicken wrap, there was a piece of cartilage that was probably about the size of a half dollar coin, about 1/8” thick. Then there was an issue where they overcharged us money and instead of making it right, rewards us a $5 off coupon of any order $50 or more (which we always use anyway). I then called to make them aware, tonight. The two girls who claim to be the managers didn’t seem too concerned. They responded they are sorry and they will resend it again “well done” this time, if that’s our preference.. ? Is having your dough fully cooked a preference? I didn’t realize this was an option. I made her aware of the other issues and have never felt more dismissed and unresolved by a business. Her response was basically sorry, just ask for either “Kierra or Tori” next time because they are the “managers” and they will make sure our dough is well done going forward…. Didn’t realize we were ordering from a steakhouse??

My first and last time ordering. I just moved to the area from Delaware and I am a huge "wing lover". I ordered a 10 pc Garlic Parm wing with hopes to be a regular customer. The wings arrived soaked in what appeared and tasted to be pizza/marinara sauce, with pieces of garlic that I could not taste because the pizza/marinara sauce was so overpowering. The was absolutely no taste or sight of anything Parmesan. I called in and told the girl on the phone that there was NOTHING Garlic Parmesan about the wings and that they were soaked in pizza/marinara sauce. She told me "Oh well. That's the way we make them. Sorry you don't like it". She did not offer any remedy, to remake them, a refund or anything. This treatment to customers is absolutely unacceptable. STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS! $12.00 is too much to pay for a pizza steak it’s start out at $10 then you have to pay for the onions and peppers which for 10.00 that should be included feeling rip off took away from enjoying the sandwich.

In response to your reply. As a retired bus operator, I have had the opportunity to eat at many different places. So I feel that I can be a fair judge on your prices. As a retired and working class person your sandwiches are too high and because it’s so high, you should not charge extra for the onions, peppers and sauces. I know of a few local stores that make bigger sandwiches than you and don’t charge extra for those items. One store makes cold Subs that start at $7.00 and you can cut it and get two 9in sandwiches. Another place you can get a steak sandwich on 9in roll and take the meat off and make a 7in sandwich and that store charge extra. The cost $10 should include onions and peppers. Food for thought.
