Hardee’s — Restaurant in Goldsboro

This was a great experience to just be fast food. It is my favorite Hardee's in town for breakfast. The staff are extremely busy but make a point to be extra busy even when it's a little after dawn when I go. The same Lady works the drive thru for the morning rush and she always makes a point to call me by name and make quality conversation,even in that short period of time. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemo and it was very hard it eat I could only eat milkshakes and smoothies for months but most don't make them that early in the morning. However this wonderful woman who was a stranger to me at first always make sure the machine was clean and up and working even before dawn every day for months. If that isn't quality customer service than I don't know what would qualify. She works her job day after day with a smile on her face, makes conversation with everyone, and if your a regular she even makes a point to learn your name and memorize your order. The facility is very clean and organized as well are each and every team member. This makes fast food a quiet little escape anytime of the day. It is not the best for kids even though they have a kids menu they just don't have a play room or any toys. That is the only small draw back I see for this small but very friendly fast food chain, where no employee asks as if they have ever met a stranger. I don't say this to be mean, but just as an honest opinion. I feel as though the manager here needs to be replaced or let go. This establishment is nasty, I've seen water bugs, which most restaurants can't help. But the place smells dirty when you come in, the bathrooms are so disgusting, the only reason I used it is because I really had to go, I don't feel as though they really require team members to clean them and the rest of the restaurant properly. The food makes us feel nauseous, and looks thrown together. I feel like whom ever is in charge needs to take the time out and educate employees on how to properly make the food, and educate them properly on sanitation and cleaning techniques. Food: apple pies are pathetic, No real apple pieces. The burgers need-fresh onion, lettuce and tomato. Chicken Tenders are great. Restroom is a pig 🐷 style, always NASTY, no TP at times. You can't pick up a napkin, to dry your hands after washing them in the pig- style RM, then you have to grab the contaminated door handle & that contaminates your hands.
