All the stars here go to the chefs and Kassidy!!! This past Saturday we went out for my birthday dinner (I love the nigiri there) and once sat we waited for nearly 15 min with no server. Many of the servers passed us, made eye contact etc. Back in my day, it didn’t matter whose table it was - if there is no drinks get the table started! Front of house is a team ladies and gents 👌 Kassidy, while getting food for her own guests, took notice we had no drinks in passing and checked to see who our server was. I saw what she was doing and intended to request her for noticing if she wasn’t our server. After not finding anything she took over our table and saved the entire experience - because we almost walked out. She was wonderful, not only as our server, but I saw her expo’ing, checking to see if other servers needed anything and helping them, and was making sure things were going right for all the guests there. She was excellent. As a prior manager and longtime server and bartender, it takes a lot to impress me and I’m thankful she had a keen eye! We will definitely be back, and will always ask for Kassidy 🖤 Note* Prior to this, never had a bad experience here. So I definitely would not had mentioned or cared too much about an off night, even if disappointed. What I care about is sharing when someone gives above and beyond service and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves beyond...

Amazing spot to dine in. So so happy they reopened, the food is amazing as ever, the service was impeccable. I can’t rave enough about jays in general but this spot is truly amazing. Nice outside dining, beautiful artwork and scenery. The last two times I’ve been, I’ve had astounding service. Victor our server so so polite and knowledgeable about the menu, truly cared that you had a phenomenal experience. Always going above and beyond for the customer, making you feel like family! And Heather was outstanding, very kind and knew the menu front and back, very fast paced worker, she knew exactly what you needed before even asking! The inside dining is just as fabulous, so much seating, big round tables that seat about five people, booths in the back, sushi bar, the regular bar and seating in the other back half of the dining room! It was so fun to see the chefs make your sushi right in front of you! The patron and rainbow roll were delectable! And their deserts are to die for, lemon raspberry cheesecake and the apple roll up are real showstoppers!!! Also so so much parking, there’s side street parking, a enormous parking lot right down the sidewalk, and another across the street! Amazing place to dine in with family, friends or just a quick lunch break. It’s so nice to have jays...

The food was just ok. For the price, I expected more than I received. I had really high expectations based on other people's reviews, and maybe it was an off night for them, but I was not impressed. Also, if you are particular about your food and make changes in what you order, dont expect it to happen. What you order is what you get. No changes. I ordered a bulgogi burger with onion rings, extra crispy. If they were extra crispy I would hate to see regular crispy and the meat on my burger was a bit stringy, hard to chew. Good'ish flavor but not tender, like one review said. My brother ordered sushi with extra ginger and received sushi with hardly any sauce. My brothers girlfriend ordered the Burger with no French sauce, no bacon and the egg on the side, with mayo. She got the Burger with French Sauce, bacon and the egg On it, no mayo. On the plus side, our waitress was very good. She was running a lot helping people, but always had time to fill our cups, bring the mayo that hadnt been received, bring a plate so we could scrape off the unwanted on the Burger, etc. Its a busy little place, but I feel its overpriced for the quality of food.
