Starbucks — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Came here to pick up a DoorDash. I’m a struggling mom of a toddler and pregnant again. Today I went doordashing but had no money to pay a sitter to watch my son. So I waited in the drive thru I told the guy if it was okay I picked up a DoorDash, I would go inside but I had to bring my son today. His response was “I’m sorry you can’t pick up a DoorDash here it’s against store policy, I would but the store manager is here today and I would get in trouble” so if your a mom who has to bring her kids doordashing and can’t bring them inside or their too little to be left in the car do not come pick up a order here. The line for the drive thru is crazy long and crazy busy inside. I have no help and no family trying to pay my bills and all because I couldn’t carry my baby inside and grab DoorDash drinks at the same time or have help to watch my son. I could either park, come inside for the order or just forget about the order all together. If you’d risk breaking store policy ” when your store manager isn’t there with you then the least you could do is just ask her if it’s a possibility. Oh how I’d love to have a job to avoid this but no one hires pregnant women. Thought maybe Starbucks could make a exception for me since their supposed to be so friendly but I guess they only make exceptions for their customers when their store manager isn’t there.

Side note/ a couple of months ago I was allowed to pick up a DoorDash from the window here and was told next time to try and come inside for their order. Which is why I didn’t think it would be a...

Service was good as usual. I support and appreciate the companies move towards sustainability of half its current use by 2030. I purchased my reusable cup. The disappointment I did have was in the past (it has been a good bit since going to Target and therefore not gotten my Starbucks fix at these locations) a refill of you coffee while at store location was possible upon request. I enjoyed getting my refill usually before I left it was a nice additional perk. On my latest visit of course using my reusable cup I was informed they no longer were offering this benefit. To be honest and completely fair if I remember correctly she said no to my coffee and I didn't really here anything else that I was told because it wasn't what I enjoy which is a hot white chocolate mocha no whip, but I think she did say they still do for some other drinks but sorry I don't remember what. Young Lady seemed like she did not want to be there and had an attitude towards me (I was nice didnt make a complaint or anything). I was also looking at what they had on the display before ordering (i wasnt holding up a line nobody was behind me) and she said "HELLO" with an attitude as well.
