I came in late on a Saturday, so it looked kinda closed from the outside. There was one person working there, his name was Frank. He asked me what I was willing to spend, and I told him $5k at most. He then proceeded to let me lie on the beds to see which firmness I wanted. I settled on medium. Unfortunately, he seemed really keen on showing me his most expensive ones and avoiding showing me the cheapest ones. He showed me some of the cheaper ones but I had to try out a couple of the cheapest ones myself. This isn't too much of an issue, I just wish he could've showed me the cheapest ones as well. He also pushed for the most expensive ones there for me to buy. His opinion on them being the most comfortable wasn't wrong, but the price difference was almost double for something that was only slightly more comfortable at best. I ended up settling on a serta mattress, which was like the first one I laid on after finding my firmness level, and got a free adjustable frame for the bed due to the spring sale. Overall my experience was pretty good. Frank didn't push too hard on the most expensive ones and did tell me to try out any one I wanted, so I can't really fault him for wanting to show me his best, just wish he also showed me his cheapest as well. Great experience. I went to Mattress Firm to get a new bed due to a few surgeries I had to have and the effect that had on my health and not being able to sleep right anymore. Frank was the salesman and he walked us around and showed outstanding patients with me. I’m very indecisive when it comes to making high dollar purchases. He explained how the bed was only 70% of the comfort and the pillow was the other 30% which I didn’t know. The pillows he sold us already made an improvement in the comfort of how we rest on the current mattress we have so I can’t wIt until we get the new one. He explained every detail of each item so I knew exactly where every cent I was giving him was going and what it did to help me and my health. The warranty was better than expected and he even had me test a bed with the same feeling but lower cost. Most sales people want to rack up every dollar of commission they can even it it isn’t what’s best for the customers. Frank told me not to worry about his check let’s worry about getting me a bed I need for a price I want. I have never bought a mattress before. My husband and I walked into the Mattress Firm in Goldsboro North Carolina knowing that we were there to purchase a mattress.

There was COVID to consider. A table was at the entrance. There was hand sanitizer and plastic gloves available for customers. With our masks on we took advantage of the protective wear that was provided. Having this available reassured us as we walked in. They wore masks and so do we.

Ray had spoken to my husband weeks previously in the purchase of a box spring. We were greeted by a trainee and then Ray joined us on our search. My husband wanted to see the Tempurpedic Mattress line. There were about seven different Tempurpedic Mattresses for us to see and test out. All were labeled but it was necessary for someone knowledgeable to help walk us through their differences. Ray was superior in helping me with every question I asked. He was able to compare each one against the other in layman’s terms.

With the information as a guide we selected the best mattress for us. I would recommend the Goldsboro Mattress Firm. We were interested in the Tempurpedic but that might not be the mattress for you. They have many other name brand mattresses available for you and your family to try. Just...
