
After reading the reviews regarding this resteraunt I decided to give it a chance based off of it's past reputation; however, I see that the present is very much a reality. My first time coming in to this place I requested to sit outside. The hostess told me it would be a well before I was services if I sat outside, I said no problem. I had to request a menu. Sat outside for approximate 15 mins & no one came out. Walked back in to order & someone was ahead of me, another family walked in, & after servicing the people that were ahead of me, the same hostess from the beginning looksd right passed me & seated the family who was behind me. Proceeded to come back to the front, have a discussion with another employee then ask how can I help you. Despite this I proceeded to order chicken enchilada verses. I requested it to go, asked if there was a military discount (there is) & I requested to pay. The hostess advised I would pay once my food was done. When I went to check out I looked at my food & said this is not what I ordered. It was a red encheada & it did not appear to have any chicken in it at all. The hostess told me I was wrong & it was a green enchilada, places sometimes make them differently. I against my better judgement, I said ok, paid & left. When I returned to my room to eat my food, there was no chicken at all, more like a cheese enchelada & if any meet at all it was a ground beef of some sort... Needless to say I went right back. The same hostess, with the same BAD ATTITUDE continued with a discussion with two other employees before asking how can I help you. I requested a supervisor & she said he was not there this evening. So I requested to speak with someone else. Now the next lady was extremeley attentive & without hesitation, after looking at my meal & knowing what I ordered said she would replace it immediately. Came back out with exactly what I wanted & how I expected it to look, offered me to review it before I left & charged me nothing (obviously that would not have flown). Although the second person handled it exceptionally, based off of my initial experience & most recent reviews, (plus the food was not that great) I will NOT be returning I patronize this place. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at your establishment on Saturday afternoon. I visited your restaurant for lunch and was excited to try your menu, but unfortunately, my visit was marred by a series of issues that left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. After ordering my meal, I waited for over an hour without receiving my food. Despite my efforts to politely ask the waitress, who didn't speak English, to check on the status of my order, I was not provided with any updates or communication. She would occasionally disappear for extended periods, leaving me feeling ignored and ignored. When I asked another waitress if she could assist me, she offered me a drink as an apology for the wait. While I appreciated the gesture, it only took 30 minutes for her to bring me the drink, and I was still left waiting for my food. It was clear that the restaurant was not prioritizing my order. What was even more concerning was the behavior of the staff. The same waitress who had been serving me earlier was busy serving shots of liquor to the back kitchen staff, which made me question whether this was a factor in the delay. As a customer, I felt like I was being ignored while others were being prioritized. To make matters worse, when I eventually asked to speak with a manager and told them that I didn't want my food anymore due to the excessive wait, I was met with resistance and denial. The manager disputed my claim that I had been offered a free drink for the wait and insisted that I still had to pay for it. As a person of color, I couldn't help but feel like race played a role in this treatment. As the only person of color in the restaurant, it seemed like I was being treated differently than the other customers. The lack of communication, poor service, and dismissal of my concerns were all factors that made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I hope that you will take my experience seriously and take steps to address these issues. Specifically, I would like to request a refund for my meal and a formal apology for the poor service I received. Read moreBeyond disappointed and extremely mad. I have never been treated so rudely. Went in to place a to go order for myself and my husband. That part was fine, the girl was newer and had to get a bit of help, but that doesn't bother me. Everyone is new at some point. So I paid and told her I would wait at the bar. After about 25 min I got up and went back to the hostess stand to check on our order. No one was there, but I saw our food sitting o n a random table with the ticket on top. I waited for a few minutes, but no one came so I read the ticket, it was definitely our food. So I took it, realized they didn't include any tortillas for my husband's fajitas. So I went and stood at the bar. A few minutes later a girl comes up to me and says, "did you just take that food?!". I replied yes, it's mine and I'm missing tortillas so I need them so I can go. She then got an attitude and said, "how'd you know it was your food?!, I have multiple to go orders". To which I replied, well you left the ticket sitting beside the bag, it's mine. I asked her to please go get the tortillas and she then said "well obviously I wasn't done getting it together". She goes gets the tortillas. Comes back, I then asked her if she could get us chips and she tells me it will cost money. I find that interesting considering if you sit down to eat you get them free. Anyway, I said forget it then. So I'm walking out and yells in front of the entire restaurant, "you need to pay", to which I replied, "I've already paid and tipped and I will never be back." Couple things, first never take a to go order out of the kitchen and leave it on a random table unattended around other patrons, then don't get angry at the customer when they are waiting to ask someone about it and they've waited at that point 30+ minutes, for taking their food, especially when you left the ticket by it and I can read! It was obvious y'all were shirt staffed which is why I had been extra patient! Also, I've never been to ANY Mexican restaurant and spent $27 and not been given FREE CHIPS! crappy service, it makes me angry that I gave y'all my hard earned money for your server to be so ugly and disrespectful to me....
