Caroline’s review: They have delicious strawberry lemonade! Their fries are delicious but their onion rings are a little strange - the onion rings are really thing and not ring shaped, just call them fried onions rather than onion rings. The kids chicken sandwich is delicious and tastes best with only ranch! The ranch is delicious - unlike store bought ranch! They have a cool chalkboard that you can draw on while waiting. You don’t have to bring your own chalk, they have a cup of chalk that anyone can use! Emily’s review: Their jalapeño ranch is the most wonderful thing I’ve ever tasted!! It’s AMAZING! (If you like jalapeño and if you like ranch) I love love LOVE their kickin’ cowboys salad - it comes with jalapeño ranch and jalapeños. The jalapeño ranch comes on the side so you can add as much as you want. I personally ask for extra ranch because I LOVE their jalapeño ranch. They have great vegetarian options - you can swap out their meat patty for a veggie patty in any burger. I love the mountain climber burger because it has jalapeños and onion strings - YUM! I also customize it be asking them to add jalapeño ranch to the burger. SO GOOD! Their fire fries are great and also come jalapeño ranch!

Food: Mountain climber is good. It has a slight kick. The brioche bun is very soft. All the ingredients seem to mix well with the burger. Their tomato soup is delicious. I would go here for just the soup alone. Their fries are good. Not the best fries I had ever had. The cookies are hard. If you are into hard cookies. I prefer soft cookies. The ice tea was refreshing and the lemonade was super sour to me. Service: The service is quick. They get your food quick, however they forgot my drink twice. This is where they need to work on. Ruben, the second cashier had rectify the drink problem for us by offering cookies for our troubles. The first cashier had offer us food recommendation. The bust guy had excellent service. He got me a to go box. Seating: There are booths and tables indoor. The outdoor has plenty of space. Indoor was not available during COVID. Amenities: There is restroom available and parking is plentiful and free. The restroom is exceptionally clean. There is free wifi. Music plays indoor only.

The atmosphere was very good. Seems like a fun place to take the family or friends. The service was very quick and the staff was friendly. The have a soda fountain which I always support. I really enjoyed the fries they had. The were cooked just the way I like. A bit crispy, but soft in the inside with excellent spices. The burger was pretty good but it was lacking in terms of the patty. It was a bit dry and small. The burger didn't have anything particularly special about it but was definitely tasty. I'd definitely give them four stars if they had a bigger patty.

The menu at Kyle's kitchen is fairly small and doesn't change, however, the food quality is quite high, the employees are always friendly, the service is good and fast, and the company and family running it are known, and honestly backs local charitable causes. This earns Kyle's one of my rarely granted 5 star ratings. Some portion of each purchase goes toward special needs charities, and their walls show the totals donated each year. I am currently eating a keto diet, and generally get the seared Ahi salad, and the Turkey and Kale soup. Both are quite good with the salad offering mixed greens nutritious lettuce topped with a well seasoned seared ahi slices (fresh tuna) which comes with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette, and the soup is a standard broth soup with meat balls, and what is likely a bit of rice or possibly quinoa in the bottom. (Rice would be unfortunate, but it's little enough it's not a notable concern) My friends generally get their burgers, and before I was diagnosed with NAFLD, I would also enjoy their burgers which were tasty, well prepared, and served with a complimentary sauce, often along the lines of thousand island. Their chicken is largely unseasoned, so is good in the chicken sandwich which has a sauce, quality mixed greens, and tomato, but serves as an unflattering addition to a salad. Recently, I ordered my soup and salad, and when I got home I noticed the soup was missing. I called the restaurant to give them a heads up about the error, and let them know I would be in later that night to pick up the soup, and they volunteered to bring the soup out to me. Seemed overkill for just a soup, but their commitment to quality customer service is certainly commendable! This is Santa Barbara, and Kyle's is a higher end burger joint, so expect to drop a pretty penny for whatever you want from Kyle's. I'm not sure about their ice-cream pricing, but you'll probably be spending $20 a head for a burger, fries and a drink.. or for salad and soup if you want both full sized. Kyle's has a pleasant out-door dining area, and they seem to not mind dogs on their patio. The staff are always quite friendly, the food is always prepared to the same standard of excellence, and the restaurant and grounds are always clean and well kept. The shopping center Kyle's is in has a bit tight of parking in front of it for a large truck, however, the entire parking lot is quite vast with space not too far which allows plenty of room to maneuver, and you will always be able to find a spot somewhere without having to drive around the...

SHRINKFLATION?! We have been coming here for years, but wow are they making it hard for us to keep doing so…Let me explain my star ratings:

Food: They have a delicious spicy avocado sandwich/burger. However, we have noticed the bun and chicken breast are MUCH SMALLER…visibly so…..and the price is the same or higher. Society would call this “shrinkflation.” My husband even joked that his “slider” tasted good (because it’s so much smaller than even 6 months ago).

Service: The workers are pleasant and helpful. However, it’s very frustrating to pay extra for less food, and ALSO NOW BE CHARGED A FEE FOR PACKAGING on a simple takeout order where it’s just a thin cardboard box and a tiny paper bag. They charge more for packaging too, when you order more! That seams like nickle-and-diming the customer. That’s not nice, when the customer supports your establishment and can refer to friends if all is good.

Atmosphere: I love that they give to charity, but it’s time for investment in more comfortable seating.

I hope that management will listen to this constructive feedback, as we really do love eating at Kyle’s….please don’t make it so hard on your customers, because we are your...
