Had a great visit 10/15/20! Almost gave 4 stars due to loosing a few coins but everything else was perfect I kept it at 5! This was our first time since COVID but we use to come monthly before that. Changes: Lots of game machines closed to promote distancing. Examples- every other skee ball machine closed off. Air hockey closed because it was in middle of other games. One of the two big basketball games closed. I understand 100% for safety but a little sad my kids couldn't play much against each other like they use too. Games that are closed had a sticker on it saying closed for distancing. Sticker was a little hard to see on some machines and my kids lost a few tokens on ones they didn't see the closed sign at first. Half of the machines returned the coin, half didn't. Closed games should have tape blocking coins being put in so kids don't loose coins like we did. I almost gave 4 stars for that but everything else was great I didn't. No hand stamps. Be sure to bring your phone for selfie with kids. Every other table closed for distancing. Great I wasn't close to anyone else. Chuck E is taking cleaning seriously. I saw the employee cleaning and wiping machines very often. Masks are required. You can take off at the table but while playing masks needed to be worn. Tables were moved out of the way so kids had plenty of room to dance near stage! I'm so happy they still do this, my son's favorite part of Chuck E Cheese. Employee sprinkled the candy ( I think they do the candy splash instead of ticket splash right now due to Halloween) out at end of dance too so kids weren't too close to each other either.
The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and kind. I wish I had got her name - she really was working hard. Our pizza was absolutely amazing. I ordered extra cheese and it was the cheesiest yummiest pizza I've had in a long time! I also love they serve the pizza on a bumpy tray - I feel it really helps the crust stay crunchy. The other Chuck E we use to visit served on flat pizza pans and crust would get chewy quick.
So with the exception of loosing a few coins I highly recommend checking out this Chuck E Cheese if you haven't been in a while. They are taking Covid seriously and you can feel safe letting your child...
Read moreWe had a party back on a Saturday in December 2017 for my daughter there. We got to choose a theme that came with a toy for her when we booked the party online. The staff and our host were on it. Overall experience was great. Yesterday which was Saturday we had another party this time for my son at the same location. Overall experience this time not so great. I noticed some changes. We couldn’t choose a theme that came with a toy anymore when we booked the party online. We chose the same package deal as the last time. But this time the birthday star and kids got less tokens than what we got 8 months ago for my daughters party. I believe the price for the package was the same but they took away the party theme with toy and changed the amount of tokens given out now. We arrived 30 mins early to see if we could set up. We waited awhile for our host after checking in but she never came to the front. So we took ourselves to the party area and asked other staff members which tables were ours and they were still setting up our tables. This was 15 mins before our party was supposed to start. The pizzas came out late. It took them over an hour for the food to come out. Host told us that something was wrong with their oven and that she tried getting on them (the kitchen staff) about it. Another party was there also and their food took long to come out as well. Finally we got our food and our guest could eat. Not too long after, our host told us that they’ll be doing the birthday celebration soon. We said not yet cause we just started eating. We felt rushed. After there were problems with the kitchen, now you guys want to make up time by rushing us? We asked if they could push their schedule about 15 mins back which they did. My son didn’t even get his souvenir cup. My daughter and the rest of the kids did. After we got home I realized that he also didn’t receive his 1000 bonus ticket like my daughter did for her party. I guess the host just forgot. She kept assuring me that she couldn’t leave until her area was taken care of like the cleaning. Don’t know if I’ll ever book a party here again in the future. I even gave our...
Read moreHad my toddlers birthday party here and I won’t be doing that again. The girl I talked with on the phone when I confirmed my reservation told me something completely different from how the night went. The girl on the phone was wonderful and answered all my questions. When we arrived for our reservation the other half of our tables had not been cleared off and wiped down. The guy eventually cleared it off but only wiped half of the table so a member in our party asked for a rag and disinfectant spray. I’m sorry but we spent like $500 and our guests nor myself should be cleaning the table. This was our first time hosting a party here and there was no communication as to how the night would play out. I eventually found out close to the end that all the “party hosts” have their own way of pacing the party. I’m sorry but that makes absolutely no sense when you have a 2 hour limit. They should have it done only one way so that would prevent parties from being rushed or going over the time limit. I would highly suggest you have the party host explain from the beginning how the night will go. Food be served at a certain time, cake served at this time etc. The host did ask if we wanted to order the food when we arrived at our reservation time and we declined because we had just walked in. If the host had explained it would take 30 mins then we would have ordered the food. Nothing against our host as this seems to be the policy of the store so it’s most certainly not his fault but I think it should be more organized but hey that’s just me. They were willing to take off 2 children after we ordered the pizza because they didn’t show up which was very nice of them. They usually would not because the pizza had been ordered but they were kind enough to let it slide. They also let us stay past our time because they didn’t have any other party scheduled which was nice of them. The organization here and availability of employees needs to be addressed. For the money I spent I expected things to go seamlessly and they did not. Curious as to where management was because I would have expected them to have at least checked in once on all...
