My order was called in at 7:19 pm for 2 large subs on white bread and went in to pay for my order with Taylor at 7:22 I didn't expect my order to be ready that fast but did pay. While waiting 2 males walked in and placed their waited in the store as well. They 2 males got their order and left about 11-15 minutes later all while the staff are singing and playing around. I get up and ask them about my order to find out that it has been sitting on the oven the ENTIRE TIME. I said I have been sitting here waiting on my order why wasn't my name called who is the manager. RayAnn said I am the manager and you should've asked about your order and did you even pay for it I said yes she said do you want your order or not if your complaining I asked for the corp number she said they don't have one call the 99th ave location. I told her that not how this should be handled she then stepped to the side called someone and said I have a lady here that's mad about her order and I don't know why I bend around the corner and said you need to tell the truth you know why. I get home to find out the the order was incorrect and then the GPD called and said she doesn't want me back in the store which is fine because I didn't plan on it we have been using the Avondale location for 2 years. My son was going to take them back to correct the subs and called to explain she said something on the lines of putting something up his a**. This entire situation could've been avoided very unprofessional young lady that shouldn't be working in...
Β Β Β Read moreHello! I was just at this firehouse location and I placed an online order at 5:55pm I arrived at 6:03 and noticed there wasnβt any sandwiches by the pickup sign, the app pickup time was 6:10, so I waited and waited. During this time I saw several other customers who placed orders in store receive their sandwiches. The app said a 6:10 pickup time and that had long since passed and still not a single sandwich by the pickup counter. Finally at 6:25ish I went to the counter to ask if there was a mistake or I placed for the wrong location or whatever. Only to find that they had kept my sandwich behind the counter instead of by the rapid pickup sign. So the whole time I was waiting for nothing, and my sandwich was just getting cold and soggy. Meanwhile the app kept saying that they were preparing my order and would put it by the rapid pickup when it was ready. I was not told I would have to speak to the employees to get my sandwich, and every other Firehouse location I had been to before, I didnβt need to speak to anyone either. I have a social anxiety disorder, which is part of why I waited so long without speaking up, but also my primary reason for ordering online, that and not having to wait, both of which I had to do. Anyways I simply told the lady thanks and left but I would just recommend anyone else who orders online be aware that they just need to ask...

Then I watch him walk over to the area the food is made behind that tall counter and he still puts on NO GLOVES and coughing over the top of the food and starts to make sandwiches and does NOT cover his mouth even. The look on his face shows that he is miserably sick and yet he coughs over the food with no mask or even the decency to cover his mouth. When they called my name I took the sandwich and threw it in the trash. This man, short and balding with facial hair, has no business being in this establishment while he is sick and if he HAD to be there, why isnβt anyone making him wear gloves and a mask and allowing him to cough over the top of everyoneβs food? Absolutely horrible thing to see. And so many poor people ordering online and just walk in and get their food without knowing this person is sick and coughing on their food. This was my first AND LAST trip to this Firehouse Subs on Estrella and Roosevelt...
