Bobazona — Restaurant in Goodyear

Came in to grab some boba and whoever the older man in his 40’s 50’s was such a rude a**. When we walked up to the register he completely ignored us didn’t even make eye contact with us. It was literally like we weren’t even standing in front of him. Me and my husband and two kids looked at each other and said is everyone ready we all said yes loud enough so he could hear ( which he was right in front of us). The only thing I could think of was that we where Hispanic and he was white. It was the most uncomfortable situation I’ve ever experienced. I will NEVER bring my business here. Instead we went sweet snow where we’ve gone before and they are GREAT! Screw this place and that biased employee.

I will keep reposting this for one because it actually happened and two you need to learn how to educate and train your employees AND YOURSELF & yes I took my business next door because the one time I went I never had a problem getting help. So my husband and I went in this past Friday night 10.1.21.. we usually always go to sweet snow because our friend owns it, but we decided to try Boba zona. We were obviously new, never been there before. Because we spotted the gelato and stood by it ready to ask for the flavor we wanted. The two/three girls that were behind the shop just stared at us, looking at us without saying a word or making a gesture. After about a minute of just standing there waiting to get helped We noticed a sign that said “order at the register” so we walked over to the register where one girl had been standing there looking at us, and I asked if we were supposed to order here and she said “oh yeah”… I told her, “oh ok we didn’t know since no one said anything to us”

But I own a business myself and I work in customer service every single day serving people. I can just tell the girls didn’t seem happy to see us. Almost like ‘omg another customer’ … it was late at night and they probably had a really long day so I don’t blame them for being tired being drained. But they definitely didn’t try and hide it. We’ll try again for that exact reason, that I know what long days are like, and the gelato was very VERY good. I just hope the girls are friendlier and...

Stopped by for a quick treat while visiting from out of state and was delighted with how clean the establishment was! samantha the cashier recommended the taro smoothie with tapioca pearls and it was so delicious! This is the first boba shop i’ve tried where the taro isn’t watered down or flavorless. My friend got a strawberry refresher with lychee jellies and i wish more boba shops offered this beverage option! it was VERY refreshing 😋. They also had the viral dubai chocolate bars and strawberry cups i have seen all over tiktok so i had to try!! I must say i had a dubai chocolate before from a shop back home in ND, and i wasn’t a fan, but when i saw they offered the strawberry cups we had to try! At first i thought it came with a hefty price but after tasting it, it was very well worth it!! Each cup cost us $19 which wasn’t bad compared to the $32 dubai chocolate bar i bought in the past. Definitely can taste the difference in quality from the dubai chocolate i had back home.
