Sweet Snow — Restaurant in Goodyear

I wanted to love this place with the Instagramable fish cones and matcha flavored ice cream (my fav). Unfortunately management has declared the pandemic over and the man serving people food was without a mask. My husband and I walked out without ordering.

Maybe next year, Sweet Snow.

Edit Reply to Owner: Thank you for your prompt response. I am well aware that not wearing a mask is no longer illegal. However masks are not a political statement. They are a public health strategy. Much like washing our hands. If the person preparing my food is not wearing a mask, they are putting my health and safety at risk. Just like if the person preparing didn't wash their hands.

I prefer to frequent establishments that keep the health and safety of their patreons in mind. Instead of of places like yours that opt to do the bare minimum.

Stopped by this place earlier today and had a similar experience as the poster below me.

When I walked into the place, there was a sign right by the door that says "masks are optional." Since the place was pretty dead (1 other person inside wearing a mask waiting for an order), I figured I'd give it a go...Until the guy behind the counter walked out of the back area (unmasked), while carrying the person's order pretty much right in front of his face. No thanks. Left the place at that point.

I do see that they respond to similar mask concerns below by stating "Well, it would have been appropriate to ask the worker to put on a mask"

As the other poster stated, "Would you want to eat a restaurant that you had to ask the employee to wash their hands before handling your food?" Same type of thing. Gross.

This little hidden Gem is a little hidden but worth the effort in finding…. They have the cutest waffle cones in the shape of a fishy mermaid tail … so if fishes & mermaids are your JAM & your ultimate favorite thing… come check them out… on this day my son and I were on a mission for snow cones…. So we went for the snow cones … their ice cream seems to be dairy free or lactose free for those that are sensitive like myself and my kiddos…. I didn’t try the ice cream on this day but I’m definitely coming back… the staff was super friendly and attentive… the location was clean and airy… it’s a perfect little place to explore especially on these upcoming summer nights it’s seems like they have decent evening hours … like you could have dinner at home and dash over for dessert hours…I can’t wait to go back… those snow cones were yummy and hit the spot if you’re not craving anything creamy in your crew! :) HAPPY...
