Had a free coupon, so why not. Well, you walk in and the teenage employees are more interested in talking than to help a customer. Being that this was the first time in this store I knew nothing of the menu and wanted to ask questions to see what I might enjoy. I had been to places like Jamba Juice and thought that this place seemed similar. So, as I was being ignored with my questions then the employees decided that they would finally ask if I decided on what I wanted. I came to Robeks a couple of weeks ago to try the their Acai bowl and was disappointed that the Acai was kind of bland…never the less, i was really hungry yesterday evening (1/31/2025) and since Robeks is only a two minute drive from home, I decided to go and give the Acai bowl another try… To my disappointment, I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing time and they had already locked the doors. As someone who has worked in The food service industry for 5+ Years, this is 100% unacceptable. The closing time listed online and on the doors should represent when the restaurant will take their very last customer; cleaning, storing, and closing should not begin until AFTER the advertised closing time. I have been going here once a week and I have loved the smoothies. And all the workers here have always been nice but today that changed! I have been trying a different flavor every time I go and unfortunately this last smoothie I didn’t care for, it was extremely sweet. I called asking if I could bring it in and get a replacement, they said sure no problem. I went in right now and one of their employees, a tall white blonde woman named Layleh was utterly rude to me. She talked to me as if I was stupid or something. I asked for a manager and apparently no manager was there. I told her that she was very rude and she needed to learn better customer service skills.
