AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This location is disgusting in hygiene and has a lack of general food service knowledge and it has been this way for the past 3 years. We stopped going here until we were craving it one day and noticed new people working, hoping that made a difference. My boyfriend orders a cheesesteak with pepperoni and mushrooms. We get home to realize they put NO MEAT on the sandwich and gave him a pepperoni and mushroom sandwich. Is this a joke? He had to drive back and ask for it be corrected and the workers gave him an attitude.
Recent incident number 2. I was craving a sandwich and since we have no other sandwich place down in Goodyear I went here. While making my sandwich, the woman working the front who is always there had the nerve to put the dirty brown rag she is using to clean the surfaces, with no surface cleaner by the way just a wet dirty rag smearing dirt around, ON MY SANDWICH. Left it on there to try and ring me up at the register, went back, took it off and proceeded to put toppings on! I am mind blown and should report them. I had to ASK her to give me a new sandwich. At this point I should have walked out, but I am too nice unfortunately. She does this, with an attitude. I get home and it still tastes like chemicals, I almost throw up. Safe to say this location has ruined Jersey Mike's for me entirely as it now triggers my gag reflexes.
As a Jersey Native who lived 5 min from the original location in Point Pleasant, I am SEVERELY disappointed, disgusted and am slowly losing faith in humanity in the food service world. Save your...
Read moreI love Jersey Mike's, but this was hands down the worst experience I've had at any food place in a LONG time. I'm legitimately pissed off. I come wait in line, and I'm third. Takes me 30 mins to get my sub. The people in front of me had basic orders, not some crazy office order or anything. One kid is chatting with a coworker who's off the clock the whole time. Super unprofessional, and it's obviously distracting him. Their conversation includes cursing and inappropriate stuff that the kids in line should not be hearing. The oldest employee, who I assume is the manager is watching all this without saying anything. Another customer was pissed because he was waiting for his mobile order since before I arrived. He asks about his order, and it's on the counter behind the manager - not in the mobile order section. He is pissed. They finally realized they didn't start my order after the two people behind me have already left. The cherry on top is they didn't even cut my sandwich, so I have to eat this thing and make a mess in the car. Won't ever eat at this location, and maybe not even JM's for awhile. Corporate should check camera footage of this store, as it needs...
Read moreNone of the employees wore name tags, so I have to identify the employee as a young black man who did not even acknowledge me when I was standing in front of him and waiting to take my order. He just stared at me with an angry look. When I asked him how his day was going to start some dialog to get my order going, all I received was,"good." He still didn't ask me what I wanted. It was very strange and uncomfortable. So I went ahead and told him what I wanted and he got it going. The sandwich was fine, but he was either having a really bad day, or needs to learn some people skills in this line of work. In addition, the other two male employees, weren't a ball of fire either. After feeling compelled to leave a tip and doing so, I never received a thank you or even the traditional JM ring of the bell to let others know, I appreciated the service, which I really didn't. Needless to say, I won't be back to this JM's.
To the owner. Don't waste your time witha cut and paste response like you have with all the other unsatisfied customers. This place is on borrowed time if you don't take charge of your business, grow a set, and start firing...
