I found this restaurant scrolling around on Google Maps looking for a different place to eat. I wish Google would bring up EVERYTHING when I search for vegetarian food. I'm so glad I stumbled upon them on the map because I really enjoyed the restaurant.

We went on a Friday night. They have a parking garage right across from the restaurant, which I really appreciated. I knew it would be good when I saw a big line and full dining room with people taking their food to eat at the tables outside when it was cold out. The outside tables were almost full too.

The line was long but they have menus you can study while you wait. I like that they serve alcohol. I planned to try a drink, but forgot by the time I was ordering and just got a fountain drink out of habit.

We were lucky enough to snag a table. When we went up to get our drinks we noticed that they have games! We grabbed a card game called Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is. It's easy to learn, plays fast, and is challenging!! (The game is for 3 or more people, but the Internet says if you want to play with 2 players, just deal 12 cards.) The wait time for our food was pretty long, but we were busy playing the game, so the time went by fast.

The food looked great when delivered, and tasted good too. I got the vegetarian Berliner Wrap with a side of Greek salad. My husband got the vegan Gyro Combo with a side of Greek salad. We both enjoyed the food. I took a bite of his and thought it was really good. It had fries on it, which was a nice bonus surprise. His was a little messy to eat, so I was glad I got the wrap. He said the only thing he didn't like was that there was too much pickled onion and it was a little acidic for him. I thought it tasted great. But I can't see how the acidic onions and acidic salad dressing would be too much. Once he said something, I noticed the salad dressing on my salad, which probably could be toned down a bit with a higher quality balsamic vinegar. It was still good though.

The food was very filling. I could only eat half my wrap. They have take-out boxes of the counter, which is really convenient because you don't have to flag anyone down or wait in line.

Overall, I thought the food was good. The atmosphere was fun. In my opinion, it's a little overpriced, but I think everything is overpriced so what do I know? I hate inflation. I love all of the vegetarian options. The menu said you can make anything vegetarian. They also have a vegan section of the menu. I'm looking forward to going back to try the loaded fries and...

My wife came here with a group of her friends the day before, and told me about how good it was, and that she could eat here every day. I asked her if she wanted to go there for a lunch date, thinking I was just surprising her, but actually surprised myself as well!

Had the Spitz Gyro with lamb and beef, with the pita and hummus for side, we shared some wings, and I can honestly say it was the best Ive had! The flavor of the Gyro, texture of the pita, seasoning on the fries, EVERYTHING was top tier.

When wings don’t need to be covered in sauce to have amazing flavor, thats HUGE. Seriously….

After all that, decided to try and squeeze in a baclava roll in, and so glad I did. There must be some wizard back there putting magical spells into the food because now its all I can think about. I want the company to be as successful as they deserve, but also dont want the place to blow up and be so packed I wont be able to eat there again :)

Thank you for the...

Had similar experience as other reviewer today except we ordered online after trying to call and order via phone. Automated answering said to please use online. Online order said asap pickup approximately 20min. As soon as I got there I knew something was wrong. Several empty tables with dirty dishes from previous customers. Several people appearing to be waiting for pickup order. One person interrupted an employee to ask about her online order - she informed me she’d been there an hour and it would be likely 30 minutes longer. Then walked out 5 minutes later with the food. I chose to go wait in line and then ask about my order there. That employee informed me that it would still be quite a while. This was at least an hour after I placed the order online. Everyone has a bad day but… something was wrong or broken tonight. Ensure proper training or management is there at all times or this seemingly popular spot will...

We finally tried Spitz in Goodyear, AZ 📍and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Berliner Bowl with chicken, Street Cart Fries (half sweet potato, half regular), and some Falafel with Hummus. Everything was super fresh and flavorful—Mediterranean food done right. Bonus points for the bright, colorful vibe inside. #mediterraneanfood #lunch #streetfood #bowls #salads #goodyear #arizona #westvalley #wraps #gyros #foodie

The Medi Bowl was pretty good! Add a good variety, and if you want to try their rice and quinoa you can. They'll do that half and half for you. The Frozen Tangy Margarita is a little too sour for my taste. But if you like the pucker go for it. Perhaps I'm spoiled, but I kind of wish the meat came out hot (not spicy). It tasted a little bit more room temperature to me. Service. Service was fantastic. Hostess delivered food to my table, and the owner even talked with patrons. Atmosphere. I would say it was a highlight, The Deco and the art design is really well done. The mural outside and inside looked fantastic. The way the light bundles match the air vents, and the subtle hint of LED Neon, rounded out the atmosphere. The color palette felt very retro, with a hint of Goodyear history. I will definitely be going again and sharing some other dishes, and will let you know if anything I stated changed.
