Aroma Joe's Coffee — Restaurant in Gorham

I ordered an espresso and the girls charged me the $6 for a double shot, then proceeded to pour me a drip coffee that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. When I took it back to the counter and said “this isn’t a latte?” The three of them all looked at eachother and said “I didn’t make a latte? Did you make a latte?” “I didn’t make one either? Did you make one?”. So they took the drink back and proceeded to make the thing I paid $6 for. Fast forward 10 minutes and I was given a barely passable latte. The milk foam was the most poorly steamed milk I had ever had. It had 3 cm bubbles in it and reminded me of the dirty huge soap bubbles that come off the side of a car tire while it’s being cleaned in an auto wash. The espresso was ok in quality, not being to bitter, but the lack of care of the young worker when preparing the drink made for a sub par barley passable latte despite the fact that she was operating a $10,000 espresso machine. Just went to get afternoon coffees. The place was staffed by two inexperienced young ladies with no supervision. One was trying to train the other but it was evident that neither of them knew what they were doing. They were overwhelmed. There was no one there to supervise. They were flying by the seat of their pants. This is not the first time I have observed no one in the know in charge. Honestly wouldn't recommend this location unless you're only getting a rush, and even then the consistency sub-par at best. One of the baristas added a $2 tip to my card but still told me the total without the tip. I asked for the receipt because I saw the charge and she said she couldn't find it, so I asked another girl and she found it rather quickly. I only wanted the $2 refunded and they refunded the entire order which was nice, I guess. That was the final nail in the coffin for this...
