Well the (black tie) manager himself received our order at the register, the manager was very friendly, attentive and patient. It was also not very busy at all on this day in particular which was nice. When we finished giving him our order he asked "Would you like the order for here or to go?" "For here." we said, to which he replied "Excellent I'll bring that out for you." After such an exchange and we had gotten our drinks and taken our seats not expecting that roughly 20 min later we would be curious as to where our order was. We had discussed that the order should have arrived at the table by now, at which point I approached the counter to find a (bag) of food and two mostly melted frappes. When I asked the associate behind the counter if the order number matched the one on my ticket, she replied "Well, did you have frappes?" As I replied "yes..bu-". "Then yeah, that's yours" she said. To which I responded "oh well we were wondering where our order was-". "well it's been right here" she interrupted. I said "we never even heard an order number called out, but we weren't expecting one either, then after about 20 min we got worried that maybe y'all had forgotten our order or something, so I thought I would just come check." She said "oh no....well at least you got it now". I was flabbergasted because i just did not expect the extravagant wait followed by a complete lack of accountability for our order. By the time we got the bag back to our table our fries were overcooked and cold, and the frappes were melted. I also mind you that I wear a back brace and walk on a cane as I had a recent back surgery and don't think that I just expect assistance, however I was shocked that after everything considered no one even offered a hand when they watched my struggle to carry the bag of food, the drinks and my cane. What astonished me altogether is that this all could have been avoided if my order had been processed correctly as dine in and brought to my table as I was assured earlier..... The fact that the manager treated us well when taking our order and cleanliness of the store were the only positive points of this...
Read moreI stopped at the drivethru for breakfast for my 2 grandchildren this morning. Both were hungry and anxious to get home and eat. I made a special point to ask the cashier if all of my order was in the sacks that she gave me. She ensured me that it was all there. When we got home I started fixing my young grandchildrens plates. I was very upset to find one of their orders was missing. How do you explain this to a hungry 2 yr. old? I tried to make do with the one meal that we had but it wasn't what the 2 yr. old wanted so she cried instead of eating. I called McDonald's and spoke to the mgr. on duty, April. All she did was apologize and offered to write my name down so I could pick up the missing part of my order at a later time. WOW! THANK YOU APRIL for giving me something that I have already paid for!! 👏 You see April, you must not have must experience in customer service or management. You fortunately owe a customer what they paid for!! What do you plan to do to show that you truly care about them as a customer and want them back? Well April, you did nothing! In fact you were even rude and immature. You told me you could give me what I paid for, said have a good day and hung up. If you worked for me, I would terminate you immediately. I managed in retail for years and that attitude does not cut it! McDonald's, (owner's of this location) I highly suggest that April receive the proper customer service training and management training or you will lose customers at this location. I will not return to this location. I will only go to the location by HEB now. It's not about the money. I don't even care about a refund for my missing food. It's because the manager of this location did nothing to show she even cared that my young grandchild didn't receive her food. We are the customers. Without us, people like April and her co-workers may not have a job. I hope this...
Read moreWent to a McDonald's in Weatherford, off of the main road, and went through the drive through, was only there to claim an item from my rewards app, and immediately while trying to provide the verification code to the drive-through employee, the audio device thingy started becoming garbled and I had to repeat the code 4 times, before the employee finally understood me. Other than that, the service is usually very fast and without much messed up orders, as I have been to that McDonald's on several other occasions. However, their ice cream machine is never working, and sometimes, usually in between about 4:45 and 8:30 pm, the drive through has a higher volume of customer traffic, don't ever see too many people, if at all, inside, other than employees. Right off the main road, easy to see from the freeway and service road, staff and employees for the most part, are very friendly, helpful, and polite, and always in the most cheerful of employee-customer interaction type of foods, the overall restaurant, both inside and out, bathrooms not included, was your average level of professionally appealing with cleanliness and hygienic. The free wifi that most McDonalds locations now have at this current location, yog have to be literally sitting on top of the building to be in range, and it will fluctuate in and out if connected to, while being any further than about 6-8 feet from...
