Gotta start with the proprietors...Betsy & Glenn are such gracious hosts! Hospitality abounds here as we were greeted with flair and a big smile at the door by Betsy. She gave us a tour of the beautiful home. We met Glenn a bit later and he was equally friendly as he told us about the loving care he has planned for the house. The home is very comfortable from the great room to the dining room to all the bedrooms. Very tastefully decorated. The room, bed and pillows were quite comfortable (kinda slept later than usual!) Then, there's the 3-course breakfast prepared by both Betsy and Glenn. Our first course was an artfully prepared fruit dish with bananas, strawberries and blueberries served with honey and some sort of cream...it was divine. Then we were served a divine crustless quiche along with roasted potatoes and sausage. Third course was mango sorbet to cleanse the palate. All was served along with three different fruit juices and, of course, coffee. Keurig coffee maker is available any time of day along with an assortment of cookies, candy and packages of salty snacks. If every in Granbury again, we will...

The four of us girls rented 2 of the suites and were very impressed. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was really good and more than we could eat, and the entire house appeared to be very clean and well maintained. It’s a Craftsman style house built in 1911 and it’s extremely comfortable. There have been a few additions and it’s also been updated very nicely. The host made us feel right at home from the time we arrived until our departure. We walked to the square for dinner and to see a play at the Opera House.
