I had the worse experience in customer service last night 12/20/2022 with Meaghan who was on the cash register and Daylin who was supposed to be the night manager. I placed my order while I was in Cresson because it would take 15-20 mins to get to the restaurant and online it states 15 mins for order to be completed. I arrive at the restaurant at the 15 min mark, no problem. However Meaghan then proceeds to attempt to obtain additional payment after I already paid and tipped online. I corrected it and informed I paid online. Because of the time given online for order and the time when I placed the order, I asked if she had estimate on how much longer? She then says “you’re gonna have to wait because there are 2 orders a head of you”. I inform of the time frame and ask if she can confirm. She walks to the back and starts to sigh and say “Ugh these people”. The customer who was picking up for a food delivery service and I hear her and when she comes back address it and ask her if that was necessary. Her response was “Soooo”. I then ask to speak to a manager who she names as Daylin and he refuses to try and remedy the situation. The other customer then says at Papa Johns they don’t treat customers like this, and Meaghans response was “Well this isn’t Papa Johns.” So, I ask for the general manager’s information at that point. She gives me a name then consults with Daylin who then refuses to give any information. I take my order and go home and inform my wife who calls up there to try herself to get the information. Daylin calls me a liar and says Meaghan never did those things, refuses to give the GM Camrons information and then hangs up on my wife. She calls back and Meaghan answers and also hangs up on my wife. Finally on the third call we speak to Bethany who apologizes and takes my wife’s information to give to the GM. Now we’re waiting to hopefully hear from...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I genuinely would. While some of the staff at this location are kind, hardworking, and dedicated, it’s unfortunate that their efforts are overshadowed by profoundly poor management. The area manager, Ginger, and shift manager, Savanna, are not only ineffective leaders but actively contribute to a toxic and unsustainable work environment.
What’s most disheartening is that this establishment could truly thrive, it has potential, and it has team members who clearly care. But when those in charge lack accountability, avoid responsibility, and show blatant disregard for the well-being of their team, it creates a ripple effect that affects morale, customer experience, and long-term sustainability.
Supporting local businesses should mean supporting ethical practices, fair treatment of staff, and a culture of respect. Sadly, that’s not what your dollars support when you choose this location. Choosing to support this business in its current state is, knowingly or not, choosing to support the mistreatment and burnout of the people keeping it afloat.
And to Savanna—if by some chance you’re reading this because you’ve once again left your coworkers short-staffed—please understand that your pattern doesn’t go unnoticed. And to Ginger, leadership is not about collecting a paycheck while everyone else carries the weight. Real leadership means being present, accountable, and protective of your team. Your absence, in every sense of the word, speaks volumes.
Until this location is under better leadership, I can’t in good conscience recommend it to anyone who cares about supporting a business that treats its people with dignity...
Read moreLet me start off by saying, I gave them multiple chances to make this right. So a few months ago, we had ordered pizza some wings and some breadsticks. We had All of our children home for the weekend, "kind of a big deal in our house" so we thought hey let's feed everyone for a good price and make dinner simple. How wrong were we? Well for starters I will preface this by saying, several people in my household are allergic to tomatoes. Which means no red sauce. We ordered 3 pizza's with Garlic Parmesan sauce, we received only marinara sauce pizza's. They were wonderful about at least trying to fix the mistake that time. They gave us a credit for more than what we spent. We were still a bit upset as, some of us didn't get pizza that night. So a few weeks went by, we decided to give them another chance. We went to the shop and Ordered in person, 2 Pizza's with Garlic Parmesan Sauce. We made very clear to them, it was a food allergen that we could not have red sauce. They made us 2 red sauce pizza's. We simply asked that they refund the amount of the original order, the lady in charge yelled at my wife for several minutes. Refusing to refund an order that was "free" and denying we told them it was a food allergen, or ordering white sauce, when it showed on the receipt... She then told us we would never be allowed back. We laughed and asked "why would we eat somewhere that is trying to poison us?" I would never recommend going to this pizza hut. They need an entire new staff, and until that happens the horror stories...
