Placed on order for pickup through KFC.com. Arrived at my pickup time which was a half hour later. Waited in the lobby for 5 minutes. Was told that my order wasn't ready, they couldn't complete it for another 1/2 hour, and they couldn't give me a refund. My phone number was included on the order so I could have been notified of a delay. I also wouldn't have minded coming back when the order was ready but they just turned me away and told me to get a refund from KFC.com. This situation provides a multitude of training opportunities for the staff to improve business. Ideally, if I had been offered the opportunity to wait in the lobby, to return in half an hour, or even be called when it was ready, that would have been fine. Don't just assume that people don't want what they paid for because of unforseen circumstances. Most people who have experience in working with the public are pretty understanding. So I pull up to the intercom and placed my order before I finished the employee said it would be a ten minute wait for the chicken tenders. I obviously made a choice at this point and confirmed that it would be okay. Well it was about 15 min form the intercom to the window time I pulled up. Surely my food would be done or shortly behind. So the cashier opens the window, asks me if I had the drum and thigh, I reply no. RED FLAG. He ponders for a moment and I said I ordered the golden tenders and Nashville tenders. Read moreWow, where do I start. When you walk into this place you feel like you’ve teleported to the most dangerous city on Earth. The most ghetto, nasty, unclean KFC in the world. Staff are extremely rude, mess up your order and don’t care. In the drive through they mumble and you can’t understand anything they’re saying, so you better know exactly what you want or else they WILL mess up your order. Can’t ask questions because you will not understand their answers. Rarely answer their phone and if they do, it’s clear they do not want to talk to you. Trust me, if you order fried chicken, the batter will be falling off the chicken and you will be sad. I could order a water at this place and they’d give me a root beer. Tables and seats are so covered in honey that I’m surprised my pants don’t rip off when I get up to leave.
