I usually have wonderful service from here, but today was a different story. I ordered online at 6:10pm and got a text confirmation that said 50 mins. a little over an hour goes by, and my boyfriend calls them about 7:45pm to get an update. They said at this point it was on the road, and i live not even 3 mins down the road so i figured it would be pretty soon. 8pm rolled around and I still didn’t have the pizza. I called again to ask for an update and the girl had told me she wasn’t sure what was going on because she remembered making it. She offered to call the delivery driver and they said it was delivered. The delivery driver told the girl working she delivered it to 2 boys, later to find out that they live in the townhouses right next to me. So i’m not sure if the driver didn’t check the address or what? Next thing i know the girl passed the phone to the owner and she had asked me twice if i had gotten the food or if there were boys that age in my apartment. I told her no and she offered to give me a refund or remake it for us, even though they were closed. I was quite upset at this point and was still hungry from not getting my food, so i asked her to remake the $35 worth of food that i had ordered for my boyfriend and i. The owner (i assume) personally delivered it at 8:40pm, as i got a call from her to unlock the door for her. She came in and gave it to us, and was not very friendly. I appreciated her remaking it, but i didn’t like how she acted when she delivered it. I sit down to eat my small hawaiian pizza, and i noticed something didn’t taste right. I had my boyfriend try a slice and we picked toppings off, and most of it tasted fine, except the pineapples. So not only did i not get my food the first time around, when i finally did get it over 2 hours later, my pizza had pineapple that was bad. Read moreThis place has offered THE WORST encounter I've ever had at a resturant!! I ordered a pizza a couple weeks ago from this place and myself and cousin were major sick as a result of FOOD POISONING!! After we felt better my cousin suggested we call and let them know as my family owns a resturant as well and would want to know. So I called and spoke with a young lady who identified herself as the owner who was very apologetic she even offered us a free pizza to replace the bad one which also had missing Bacon. After my reluctance to accept the free replacement pizza she said my name would be somewhere when I come, I told her it would not be that day (cause I had to think about it). So fast forward after a couple or few weeks I call and a guy Josh answers and I tell him they didn't add bacon just to make sure they did this time and I ordered it just like the one I had... . Sooooo I get there to pick it up and the guy Josh said you have to pay half, I tried to explain what the owner said and Josh actually said "You're a Liar!" I was blown away this man kept calling me a liar! I told him to call the owner and she said I was lying as well!! They really did not understand who they were talking to, since the only reason I decided to call for the pizza cause I was out in Grand Blanc coming from Home Depot to return a grill that was not on my reciept and did not want to keep what was mine! Also this Josh guy ask me why was i getting all up in his face. When i was on the other side of the counter.........i just figured that was because i was Black. Read moreFirst time customers. And i have to say overall not impressed. We went with lorenzos tonight for its good reviews. Im not sure if i got the proper experience or not but our pizzas were pretty dry. They were nicely topped and looked and smelt great. Opened them up to find they were overcooked. The cheese pizza was pretty brown (dont mind brown cheese but this was too much). Pep pizza was ok cooked wise and the old world pepperoni is delish. However pizza was also pretty dry. Overall kind of bland on taste. 3/5 for pizza quality. 4/5 for presentation. 2/5 taste.
However my issue is always with that of the employees. The girl who was in didn't make me comfortable, in fact the opposite. When i walked in and she got off the phone taking an order i was greeted with a "how can i help you" instead of the traditional "do you have a pickup etc) so right away i felt unwelcoming vibe. She wasnt very friendly. I tipped them 5 bucks on 35 dollar order without a thank you. I thanked her repeatedly to not get a single response until i said have a good night i finally got back "you too"
Needless to say i wont be ordering lorenzos again primarily just because we weren't a fan of the pizza. My 3 year old hated it. But as far as the 1 girl, a little better people skills would go a long way.
