We got hungry on our way to Winnipeg from Fargo, ND and Google directed us to this place.

The restaurant was packed even though it was almost 2 in the afternoon, on a Sunday.

Here you can find plenty of quintessential Chinese buffet fare but the crabs legs and shrimps and clams were my favourites among all of them. The friend chicken wings were great too and the several stir fried vegetables options were cooked perfectly. The noodle dishes were decent as well.

What surprised me the most was the in-house Mongolian grill! I was blown away by the great quality and the wide array of meat and fresh vegetables and noodles, skillfully grilled/stir fried right in front of our eyes.

Lots of the usual buffet dessert selections but the fruits slices were a plenty too.

Notwithstanding that it was the cheapest Chinese buffet I’ve been to in ages ($16.95 per person. Free flowing soda was extra, of course), the quality of food was never sacrificed and the service was excellent. Our soda glasses were never empty and the thousands of plates on our table were cleared promptly and swiftly.

This place is highly...

The people in the front are always very cheerful, but it seems that the people filling the lines have steadily become more pushy and rude over my last few visits. For example today (8/27) I stopped in to get a to-go box for lunch, as I was filling it I accidentally dropped a couple pieces of the sesame chicken on the counter in front of the buffet line. It truly was an honest mistake, absolutely didn't mean to do so. I didn't want to put the dropped food in my box, nor back into the food on the line. The lady filling the line had some empty food trays on her cart, so I asked if I could please discard the two dropped pieces in the cart. She glared at me, scoffed, picked up the two pieces and threw them into the cart, scowled at me again, then stomped off. I don't really appreciate being treated like a burden, so in the future I will "burden" other dining establishments with my patronage. It really is disappointing, the to-go lunch is an excellent price for what you get; but I'm tired of being made to feel as though I am somehow inconveniencing this establishment. This was...

0 STARS FROM ME!!!!! A MOUSE was running on the ledge above booths and buffet on Wed. Sept. 28. The people who work there were making fun of the people who saw it and were not happy about it. They just blew it off as if it were a normal thing. Needs to be reported to Health Dept. This place is very dirty. The floor under tables and around buffet and Mongolian grill is just black. I do not think it has ever been cleaned. Makes a person wonder what kitchen looks like! FOOD is tasteless and not hot. Mongolian grill tastes like you are eating a dirty BRILLO PAD. People touch the utensils and I even saw one Woman grab the spoon by the serving end out of the food and people lean way in and breathe all over the food. They never replace large serving spoons. They also ask age of child and then they ask the child as if they think we are lying the age. THEY should have to close and clean and make repairs, get rid of mice and be inspected. WHERE ARE THE INSPECTORS!!?? PRICES HAVE GONE UP AND NO...

Nothing special. To many people not following safety precautions. Food was ok, just a step up from China Garden. Tried again, Mongolian was the way to go, fresher tasting. Cook was friendly. The patrons are a different story. Rude, inconsiderate, and don't know how to say "excuse me, please or thank you." UPDATE DEC 16TH: hasn't improved, only more expensive. You can "pig out" there and pay half of what it is for a "to go box." Just 3 of us, one each box costs us $48, nothing extra. Hard to want to eat in the resturant, way to many people. Only good thing thing here is the Mongolian BBQ, the gentleman doing the cooking was friendly and polite.

Most Chinese buffets are decent at least. This one isn’t horrible, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I came here because sushi was a menu highlight on the listing. The selection was lacking and the sushi at my local grocery store is literally far superior. They obviously can’t carry everything, but there are several staples you’d typically see at a Chinese buffet they don’t have here. This was my second visit and I’ll be trying a different restaurant next time.
