Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Grand Forks

I checked out Ross Dress for Less for the first time today. I found a lot of great items for great prices! The store is overwhelming at first. There is a variety of men's, women's and baby clothing. There is also shoes, socks, purses, bedding, skin care, hair products and tools, furniture, rugs, snacks, luggage, perfume, pillows, toys, and lots of other misc. It was pretty picked over from the grand opening on Saturday. Although I enjoyed the products, I didn't enjoy the customer service. Every employee in there looked mad. No one smiled or talked to me. And that says a lot, considering I was in there for two hours. Plus, employees were constantly working around or near me. When I asked where the bathroom was, the girl wasn't friendly at all. I feel the store is lacking down to earth workers who are compassionate about helping their customers. The only part that made the experience better is the cashier who checked me out. Her name was Rene. Thanks to Rene, I will be coming back. I just wish the customer service was better. The vibe felt very snooty due to a combination of the employees and the customers. Other than that, I hope they have more in stock...

I went for shopping, first of all everything was messy, there were clothes in the floor all over the place. By the time to pay a black girl who was the cashier was extremely rude at me, she didn’t like that I asked for time to check the final price of the items I was paying for, she was despective, and rushed me all the time. I was unsure about a pair of shoes and she abruptly took them away, she didn’t allow me to make my own decision. Finally she asked me to put the shopping car away, at this point I was so upset and I just left the place, while I was leaving she yelled at me bad words. I absolutely do my shopping in Canada next time....

This is the first time I've ever been into the Ross store and I was deeply disappointed. It is completely disorganized and a lot of the items were damaged. I know it is covid right now which would explain some of the lower stock but it doesn't explain the empty hooks where regular socks should go. The had plenty of spa socks but very few daily wear socks. To me it's honestly nothing more than a large dirty...
