Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Grand Haven

I decided not to eat here because of how disrespectful the gentleman was that answered the phone in their prompt it says ask about our specials, I ask about the specials then he replied “I am not going to go over them because your just going to order a large pizza like everyone else” so I bit my tongue maybe a rough day I placed my order asking at the end if any of these items are in any of the specials you didn’t want to go over me With me he continued to be very disrespectful even while giving The price I felt so uncomfortable that someone I am dealing with for food is that awful I truly believe he would Of tampered with my food so I decided Not to order, I just felt super uncomfortable he didn’t care at all I asked him is this how you treat all your customers he said you are not our customer, yes because of your disgusting ignorance. My husband and I were ecstatic to see a hungry howie's opening up in GH. Garlic flavored crust, YUM! Ordered a pizza and a salad for take out and what I witnessed while I waited had me rethinking my order. I witnessed two different males pulling their masks up and down multiple times. Not only is this a covid violation, but a serve safe violation as well, because they are pretty much touching their face. Having been certified and managed a restaurant, this activity sticks out to me. I did not witness any hand washing from either individual. Luckily, I did not see them touching food, looked like they were coaching, but if I did I would have cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Being opening week, most restaurants have their best foot forward to get their customer base going, but if this is their best attempt, I'm really worried what the quality of this location will be like months from now. When I walked in and sat down I saw an indescribable stain on a seat, well I sat down given that I was tired then but when I thought it was all over but when I went to order I saw a rat they said its name is Jerry, but given that I was starving I ordered a pizza and requested for a take-out but I saw a child, spray Febreze in the oven I asked the cashier about that, he said with great proudness in his voice that, that's how they clean the oven's and I got my pizza but when I bit into it there was an ominous crunch in the pizza also I bit the tip of a slice plus the pizza was poorly cut I demanded a refund they were pretty nice about it but when I got my new pizza I pulled a slice from it, bit into it and low behold my teeth now destroyed there was a rock in the pizza and I asked to speak with the manager but the cashier said no and said get the hell out of here before I call the police!
