So for this review to make sense, I feel like a little back story is necessary. I've been planning a date with my dream girl for a little over a month, and the day was fast approaching. I felt like I had thought of everything, I ensured I had my nicest clothes packed, I had a Playlist picked for the drive, and an adorable necklace to surprise her. Throughout all this planning I had forgotten to eat all day, and right before bed I decided to run down to the Wendy's closest to my hotel. As I skimmed over the menu the Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger really caught my eye. I couldn't resist so I ordered the sandwich. I took it back to my hotel and sat on the bed. I carefully picked up the burger to avoid making a mess, and took my first bite. It was heavenly! It was better than I could have ever imagined. I quickly devoured the whole thing! To be honest I was wishing I had another one, but instead I went to bed.
The next morning I woke up, carefully dressed, I paid attention to every detail like never before. I walked down to the hotel lobby and poured myself a cup of coffee, and then it hit me, I had to... you know.. I hurried for the elevator, frantically pushing buttons, trying to get the elevator to move. As I reached my desired floor I took one step, and realized it was too late. I hurried for my hotel room, and frantically jumped on the commode. I held onto the toilet with both hands to keep myself from becoming air born. Once I knew that I had safely expelled the demon inside of me, I frantically thought of where to stash the underwear. I couldn't just throw them into the trash all willy nilly, so I stuffed them into the Wendy's bag, crumpled it up and hoped no one would dare look inside. The poor housekeeping ladies. I took a shower, and showed up late to my date by 30 minutes.
Now Wendy's, I know it's not your fault the date went horribly, but I do feel like you owe me four dollars for a pair of underwear.

Read moreI placed my drive through order about 6:55 pm this evening, arrived at the window to pay for my order and was told there would be a 4 minute wait for my chicken tenders. I was asked to pull ahead and my meals would all be brought out fresh together. I was even offered free cookies for the wait! Great, I thought. Great until I watched several cars get their orders behind me and leave, watched the clock tick by.... 10 minutes, 15 minutes... THEN watched the girl who took my order, and told me about the 4 minute wait, walk in front of my vehicle... leaving to go home! Still no food! I turned off my vehicle, went inside and discovered Morgan (the girl who just went home) neglected to tell anyone I was still waiting for my meals! The young manager on duty quickly gathered my 2 meals worth of items, my "free" chocolate chip cookies (for the initial supposed 4 minute wait) and apologeticly sent me on my way. I appreciate her getting my order together quickly but at this point All our food was cold! So disappointed with my first and LAST experience with this Wendy's...
Read moreI could post videos of the employee who couldnt stop texting, and had me w three kids waiting & waiting over 20 mins at the PAY window- after ordering & no vehicles infront of me. This employee is more occupied on his phone & I asked, "where my 4 jr burgers , 3 chicken sandwhiches & 4 large fries are?" He replys," I don't do the window." Did not appologize and did not put down his phone. Ok 26 mins from placing my order - fairly simple order last sunday afternoon- This wendys held up cars wrapping around behind me, & like I said he would not put down his phone and wasnt friendly merely the opposite, mind you I take my daughters out to eat often. The wendys on North ave are super funny happy go lucky make my kids laugh & I should have noted this exceptional customer service before & unfortunately not the case by the mesa mall. Super shocked from my previous orders placed with the North ave vs Mesa mall - disppointed overall experience & they forgot one chichen sandwhich...ahh not worth the wait & not going back...
