If I could give 10 stars to this Brewpub and Inn, I would. Here's why:
1- The owners and staff on site (family owned and operated) are wonderful. Responsove, receptive, great communication, and accommodating. Also readily available for any concerns or issues throughout your visit. 2- The bar is a smaller, relaxed spot. This isnt a place to get plastered and stumble back to your room. You come here looking for excellent beers on tap and the relaxed ambiance. If you are unsure about the brew, they will let you sample before you purchase to make sure you 100% like what you order. In addition, the owners are in the process of beginning an on-site brewery to serve their own beer on site coming soon (and we very much look forward to coming back to sample!) 3- The pub menu is small but delicious. About 5 main bar items on the menu (as of June 2018) and they're all cooked perfectly and are quite tasty. Perfect accompaniment to a cold brew. ** Note: This is NOT a bar & grill, so dont come here expecting bar&grill selections. This is a simple pub menu, which is 100% perfect for this atmosphere. (again as of June 2018). 4- The Inn upstairs is quaint and comfortable. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS INN. Small establishment, only about 5 rooms or so, which means next to no noise or commotion. Being that the bar downstairs is not open until all hours of the night, it makes this inn incredibly comfortable and relaxing. All updated, clean and beautifully decorated with a modern rustic vibe. There is a cozy patio area for inn guests (not bar patrons) to use with a fire pit and chiminea. This was my favorite spot to sit and enjoy my morning coffee and for my post-day adventure unwinding. There is also a breakfast bar which serves a convenient & lovely continental breakfast with an assortment of breakfast delights every morning, and Keurig machine for a fresh cup, every time. Lastly, there is a nice little assortment of games (board games and the like) for guests to use, as well as a stack of Colorado guide books and pamphlets of things to do around the area and across the state. 5- LOCATION. It is situated right in Grand Lake town with walking access to everything including the gorgeous lake. We spent the whole day driving from Estes Park through the Nat'l Park and getting here was a straight shot 10 minute drive from the Grand Lake Park Entrance. The town of Grand Lake is quaint and quiet, cozy and comfortable. Cute little souvenir shops and restaurants. There is a lovely boardwalk/pier with benches so you can sit by the lake and look out. And all the way at the end of town there is a lovely short hike up to Adam's Falls (about .5 miles), or you can continue several more miles to other beautiful locations/campgrounds.
Long story short, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend The Worlds End Brewpub & Inn for a cold brew and quaint lodging, hands down, Every Single* Time* for anyone looking to relax and unwind in this area. We cannot wait to return next time we visit Colorado!

Read moreFull disclosure: we were looking for a place that was open, for food, but we're not beer drinkers. Maybe their beer is excellent!
Kind of a cute little place, but service was very slow, and the food was a mixed bag. The wings were mediocre - I enjoyed the spicy honey sauce (though it was far more honey than spicy), but the tequila jalapeño sauce was honestly pretty weird, and I didn't like it very much; also, almost all of the sauce ran off of the wings, and pooled in the basket (maybe that was an improvement, though). The southwest cheddar corn bites were delicious... but the jalapeño poppers were extremely disappointing. They're bulk-purchased (according to our server), with seedless sweet red jalapeños that have basically no spice to them (and a seasoned cream cheese to slightly try to make up for it). We actually thought they were red bell peppers! We had wanted the Cactus Needles, but they were out - we were however informed, when asking about the poppers, that the Cactus Needles aren't...
Read moreWent for food and beverage, didn’t stay at the inn. The only thing that made it four stars was it was a tiny bit cramped for my style, it’s a small space. But it was perfect other than that, the atmosphere reminds you of a small pub, the service was excellent and friendly and the food was delicious, we have been twice and it was excellent both times. If you want space make sure you eat on the patio or the bar stools, there’s smaller tables in the back and there’s room but just not the most I would prefer. The beer selection is always solid and the food was excellent. Came out fast and we had our baby and they were very accommodating to us. Pretzel is large and delicious with beer cheese and mustard and the burratta was excellent too. We’ve had wings in the past and everything is always on point, fresh or hot, and comes out fast! If you want a nice pub like atmosphere with friendly family feeling staff. Go here. Highly recommend and we always go here first when we...
