Normally I donât write these, but after this mornings experience I need to. Ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and avocado. Got sandwich went to work to open and find a ham and cheese with tomato and lettuce. Went back over and said this is not what I ordered. Remade sandwich, I opened it up there to find lettuce instead of avocado. Went back to him and stated this still isnât correct, i have now attempted to order this twice, and he came back with I am pretty sure you said lettuce and argued with me, I have ordered this consistently with the female employee there the last couple weeks without issue. And now after ordering, went back and was wrong, reordered, and he still couldnât get it correct but I said lettuce, but he gave a ham and cheese originally, l think he needs to listen better. I will not be buying my breakfast here anymore. It is a treat for me to go and spend 10+ dollars on a grilled cheese sandwich and it was not busy. I ordered, someone behind me ordered a coffee which he made first, and than my order. No one else came in. Said my order to him twice but I said lettuce. Provided awful customer service at the register and when I went to the barista to simply ask how to get my coffee sweeter and I was happy to pay the difference, the owner had the gall to say âwe already put 6 pumpsâ in it. What should it matter if I wanted 3 or 6 more pumps to make it even sweeter. If I am willing to pay extra to get the coffee like I want it, shouldnât she want a customer happy with their purchase? I was not looking for anything free and was very friendly asking my question to the barista. I live 3 hours away from Grand Lake and am disgusted with her service, especially with knowing she was the owner. If you cannot handle the stress of being busy with customers, then work in the back. I will tell everyone about my bad experience and do NOT recommend going here. The ONLY positive outcome was the barista, she went above and beyond to make me happy as a customer and made my coffee sweeter and she apologized for me being so upset.    Read moreUnfortunately I was not able to try the food. Went in to have breakfast with the family. Ordered 40+10 tip worth of food. But the order did not go through on their POS even after I signed. I checked my Visa app and there was a charge pending. Showed it to the owner and she was not budging. Saying it didn't show on her system, and wanted us to pay again. We refused as the payment was pending on our end. She told us then to call my bank to request a cancellation. All this time she was rude and confrontational. Have NEVER ran into someone who ask me to do this. This is not how you run a business. About 15 minutes of me calling the CC the owner informed me that it finally showed on their system and asked if we still wanted the food. The young lady who took our order was super nice and helped us throughout the process. The owner never apologized when realizing we were actually right. We decided to take a refund and support a different local restaurant. We were visiting this town and would not recommend this coffee place.
