The food is exceptionally delicious! My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with home style potatoes and chorizo and I ordered the build your own with french toast (I added dulce de leche topping for add'l $2 fee) and scrambled eggs, home style potatoes and sausage. Husband's meal came with refried (black?) beans and salsa. Everything was very very good. This place is busy. We went on Monday at 10 am, and while there was no wait for a table, we did have to wait for a high chair but not too long. We thought it wouldn't be too busy on a Monday at 10, but it was still pretty packed. It also happened to be President's Day. When we were checking out, the lady was very nice and offered us samples of their cafe de olla and chocolate de abuelita which was nice. Both very tasty, will definitely order the cafe de olla next time. She interacted with our son which is always appreciated

It’s not really a scramble of eggs and tortillas like I’m used to, it was mainly scrambled eggs with a few pieces of fried tortillas and toppings. The toppings themselves included pickled jalapeños which for a dish like this I wish was specified because I am not a fan and in a Mexican restaurant, the last thing I expect is to be served pickled jalapeños. Beans were served in a sauce dish and the serving was pitiful. Overall, $14 for a plate of eggs, beans and potatoes def absurd. Going to give another dish a try but so far highly disappointed. For being a Monday morning, the service was okay and we were seated quickly. After being seated, we only saw our server to order, as she brought out our food, to remove our plates and to pay which she was quick to leave and informed us that tip was already included for a party of 6. I understand leaving gratuity per policy but this policy is dumb considering the service we received. Basically giving away $20 in tip for free. Inside its pretty tight seating. On service alone, I wouldn’t come again.

Read moreI visited today with my husband and sister in law to celebrate my birthday. We were told it was an hour wait and that was fine. By the time we were seated it was nearly 1 o’clock which is typically around lunchtime. It was my sister in laws first time ever visiting this place and I usually have a good time. However my time today was extremely unpleasant to say the least. Our waiter seemed as though he had an attitude and unfortunately no matter what I seemed to have ordered it wasn’t available. I substituted for a very berry juice (full of pulp and seeds with every small sip). Apparently they only had breakfast no lunch although it was almost 1pm. I was just surprised with the amount of attitude my family and I received and with the lack of options. I’ll most likely never come back. I rarely ever get to celebrate my birthday and I chose to do that here today. I won’t make the same mistake twice. My family saw I was upset and took me somewhere else. We didn’t even get to order any food !! My family even apologized as if it were their fault my birthday started off terribly wrong. I’m unsure if I should even return if that’s how this establishment is ran. I’m not saying this place is bad. The food smells delicious but my experience today was memorable in the worst...
