The last couple of times I got in the drive thru trap (meaning there’s no escape lane if you change your mind) but in this case their credit card machine was down and I was told that they were excepting cash only. Okay, stuff happens. It’s technology right. So I came prepared with cash and a debit card and a credit card today. I hadn’t had their food in over a year since the world stopped due to C-19. I ordered ground beef enchiladas and returned home to have my long awaited enchiladas for lunch. To my surprise, “ Where’s the beef” ? This ain’t Wendy’s! Only old people reading will get that. Not only did I get cheese enchiladas but it was smothered in tomatoes which I hate and always eliminate from every order. It was suppose to be a chili con carne Tex Mex sauce. Okayyy sure that’s what it was. Just didn’t have the chili or the carne BUT it had the con. The chili was missing just like the beef was missing from the beef enchiladas huh. So I said to myself... ”Self...what the heck.... just eat the cheese enchiladas.” I would never order that since I love MEAT but I’ll make an , ^I’m starving sacrifice^. So I took my little plastic fork that they gave me with no knife. I tried to cut a little piece off and... DANG really...what the heck is that. This government cheese block was wrapped in government save the nation tortillas with the texture and toughness of my rubber car tires. Okay that was not quite true. It was more like a rubber band. You can stretch and snap a rubber band . So, not only did I get the wrong order but it was impossible to cut and eat. By the way... I was literally the only person in line and no one inside. How in the heck do you mess up one order! Three strike...
Read moreHorrible experience. Arrived with a coupon for buy 1 plate get one free. (We were a little confused as to what items were approved for the coupon) We asked for combos and were immediately shut down and told what we wanted wasn't valid with the coupon. Instead of the team member explaining what was ok to order, I figured it out. (Drinks not included, the combo) Team member Cassandra, who was taking the order, was clearly annoyed and had very little patience with us. We ended up ordering 2 hatch street taco plates. 20 minutes later, we had to inquire about our food, and it was handed to us at the counter. A food number tent was never given to us. Due to her lack of patience, she didn't get our order correct. We were given 2 carne asada plates. We returned both plates and were handed one plate back. After some back and forth with Cassandra, she decided to put in a new order for 1 plate of hatch street tacos. 10 minutes later (mind you, this is now 30+ minutes later) we received our hatch street taco plate. The tacos were mediocre. Not great. Although she replaced one plate, it was done with clear annoyance. Aside from the order being wrong, the attitude, as well as the time it took, the restaurant was in disarray. The salsa bar wasn't appealing to the eye, nor was the rest of the restaurant. The attention was placed at the drive-thru while the lobby...
Read moreThis has to be one of the worst locations. If it were isolated to just one incident, I would not post my two cents but since it is not, here we go.
They are always slow. I would say within the last year, everytime I go into the lobby to place an order, I'm advised it's going to be a while before I will get my order. I guess that's good for business but doesn't really fit the definition of fast food. I tend to think if there is a drive thru, it meets the definition of fast food. Maybe I am wrong. Today I was told that and even gave me the number of orders ahead of mine. Keep in mind she did not tell the customer in front of me about the delay.
I ordered half dozen bacon and egg tacos. Should have checked my receipt because when I checked my order, it was for chor (chorizzo???) and egg. Keep in mind I have now waited approx 30 minutes for what turns out to be the wrong order. I go back to have my order corrected only to be informed that they are now out of bacon🥓.
I made it a point not to visit because I always leave there disappointed. I guess you could say it's been about 3-4 months since I last went up there and left without an order because again, I was told it would be a long wait.
Not sure what's changed but I know for sure I will be. Today was the last day that I will use tomorrow's gas to go there only to be...
