Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

I have supported this store for over a year consistently as I love their icecream, Spending money Almost every 2 weeks! As a faithful consumer, I call to check on my order online through Uber eats as they don't have selection of items on the app, Something i had to do and didnt mind doing it ...... I get the same thing for the most part ...On Today, I am told due to new management I could not get no whipped cream on top without paying extra. Mind you- This is not even on their website! 🤨😡 . Now, what type of icecream store would make you pay extra to add whipped cream as a topping? Whipped cream?????? ..... So let me put it out for others who want good icecream , Cold Stone Creamery dont do this, neither does their other competitor Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins- Especially for desserts that comes with it .... . I told the rep, the Uber app didn't even have an option to pay extra or the option for the whipped cream at all, I have never even had this problem?.... So Instead of trying to work with me and please a faithful customer, they give me the excuse of new management and not even for this 1 TIME , they would not accommodate me! Mentions I did not pay for it , so they can't add it , Even when I just told them, This is not an option on the App at all ..... SO OK, Your new management and your lack of customer service to be reasonable on a SIMPLE REQUEST, that dont even show on your website- Just costed you to lose a faithful consumer to your particular store! Spent on average $100 per month, for the past year literally!!!! You won't get the opportunity again ! ....

So to everyone else out there! Do yourself a favor, if you want this particular icecream = go to the Marable Creamery in Mansfield or Cedar Hill , who knows how to move with people!!! .... Or better yet go to Cold stone Creamery in Arlington or Mansfield... You won't get treated like this.... This store won't get another chance ! ...... Yes i love icecream like that, I won't be back.

I saw another review of the same issue, wish I would have saw it before I spent my money again almost $25 for 1 Regular Cup of icecream! Their cheap cheesy mindset with management have a problem with putting A Popular Topping for icecream - Without Charging extra smh ! ..... Greed will cost you every time ! Don't come to this marable creamery! .. Don't waste your time ! ... When your company is put in the wrong hands= You lose...

I placed an order for a raving craving sprinkle cake. When I picked it up, the cake looked nothing like the picture. It was a plain ice cream cake with sprinkles and pink icing writing. The manager, instead of trying to solve the issue, proceeded to tell me it was the same cake and it looked okay. I made it known that was not what I had ordered. He said he checked the orders in the morning and did realize it was not as ordered but thought it would be okay because it looked good. After a heated discussion (yes, he was yelling me at me), he offered to either give me the cone and waffle bowl on the side or try fix it but said his writing was not good.  He mentioned they were short staffed and finding help was difficult and also said he would not have an issue giving me a refund because they sell out every day.  I understand we are in the midst of a pandemic and I appreciate the work people do but this so called manager has no people skills.  I ended up getting the cone and waffle bowl on the side because my daughter’s birthday was on that same day but I definitely did not appreciate the manager’s lack of professionalism and poor excuses.  Furthermore, getting yelled at by someone who did not fulfill an order as requested is...

Ever since new management my experiences have been horrible. In my past visits i’ve been greeted with great employees. They were cheerful, conversational, and provided the best service . However over the past month the employees that served me started to dissipate. And around the same time I started seeing this ugly middle aged man; I’m assuming the store has gone under new management. Bad management at that, driving away customers and employees. For one since when did the already expensive products turn into unaffordable. I should not be paying $10 for 2 scoops of ice cream (a regular). Moreover the false advertising of the store is absolutely ridiculous. “Unlimited toppings”? more like unlimited money. Why are they charging for toppings now when it is advertised to be unlimited. I understand that the economy is fluctuating, but that is no excuse for false advertising. I shall never be returning to this blasphemous place.
