If don’t judge a book by its cover ever applied to anything in this world, I would say it applies here. Yes it’s attached to a gas station, but no it is not gas station quality type food...it’s much better. I’m upset I didn’t take more pics but I guess that means I’ll have to go back for more. I got the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. Pastor was definitely the better of the two, mainly because the Carnitas, while flavorful and tasty, it was a bit dry. It was a quick stop so I didn’t get a lot, but I can’t wait to try some more tacos and the elote. Update: Went back to take my wife and I was still delicious...actually better!! I loved the nachos and the Gordita was good but it would probably be better without the lettuce and tomatoes. The elote was good but a bit too soupy for me in a small cup where it was hard to mix. The churros were delicioussss and they Gad a filling on the inside that I was not expecting!! My favorite tacos so far.

Friendly staff, quick service, good food. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice it is a very small restaurant so I would definitely recommend taking your order to go. However, they do have a small bar if you wish to eat there. It can probably sit 5-6 people. Besides that, you'll be standing. The menu has a variety of items from tacos, tortas, to burritos, and a small choice of children's items. The staff was extremely friendly. Made me feel very welcome. No complaints there. On to the food. I ordered 4 fajita tacos. The corn tortillas were very warm and fresh. The meat was tasty, but not the best I've had. Still a lot better than most places. From the time I ordered, to the time I received my food was about 5 minutes. Very quick. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and craving some tacos.

Scrumptious and so tasty foods. I am an International traveler and travel to the USA a lot and been in Dallas for 3 weeks. I tried many places but I keep on coming back to this place for an Al pastor taco plate, Fajita, Mexican corn, and Horchata drink at this terrific restaurant. I also tried the scrimp and fish tacos, they are nice too. My favorite is probably the salsa, chopped and sauce type. They are incredible! The ambiance is cool, comfortable, friendly staff, and clean. I cannot come back during my stay and keep on having lunch here. Highly recommended!

Well I like Guanataco especially the one on Belt Line Rd, today I decided to try this location I must admit I was kind of excite it but as soon I got in line it was over with the lady let me standing there with out saying give me a sec or nothing, after about 30 sec she came back and greet me I Order dos Gorditas no chicharrón she said ok let me get a Carnitas and Pastor cool well the carnitas tasted like boil shredded pork I did not found the flavor in it, I ask the lady excuse me is this Carnitas she said yes they bring it from the other Guanataco all the time so I guess is not made fresh ok so I keep eating as I hear the front lady complaining about how she has to get some $$ Counts but the boss wanted her to do it a different way she was complaining about her boss then a Lady walks in and ask for a pre order no pre order here the lady said so she call the other location talking about Pinche (Spanish slang) some one then takes, I don’t know but that is negativity to me I just didn’t like the lady’s vibe specially talking about her boss like that and to the other employees and to top it off in front of customers that is unprofessional to me ... The food is not good here at least not the Gorditas no flavor and the same meat it’s for the tacos so I figured I’d the same I would have to start looking for...

Just a reminder that you aren't the only taco place around and you need your customers business more than we need yours.

The lady at the cashier seems to always have an attitude for some reason. It's quite easy for me to brush it off and go on with my day but today was too much. Today I called at 11:30 am on 08/18/25, to make a pick-up order and 2 seconds after telling her my order I requested to have my tacos separated in a different box because I was going to drop off my husband's tacos at his job and take mine home. She said she couldn't do that and that I should have told her before she submitted my order, because she has "other customers to attend to", she said, even though it had only been 2 seconds after telling her my order and I wasn't done with my full order yet and she hadn't even told me the amount due either. Mind you, I was also put on hold prior to my order, you would think I would be valued as the other customers as well after waiting. My husband and I have been faithful customers to this business but that will no longer be the...
