BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Another stuck up Biggby with stuck up customers being served hours-old coffee left out in the self-serve pump containers. I've never quite been a fan of this franchise, mostly because I don't drink lattes. I drink coffee, and I prefer a good dark roast coffee. I find Biggby fails to provide a good dark roast option.

Last time I was here, I complained about how Biggby always leaves their coffee out too long and it always tastes old. They assured me the coffee was fresh and they brew new batches regularly, but when I went to fill my large cup, the coffee I chose ran out halfway through my 24oz cup, so I had to fill the rest with a different kind. After I left, I found the coffee tasted old and stale. Coffee is supposed to be fresh, and if you compare to Biggby's main competitor Starbucks, they have a rigid schedule at every Starbucks location to brew a new pot of coffee every half hour so you're rarely getting a stale cup if at all. Half hour old coffee is usually a tiny bit burnt, what I'd call stale, and I rarely get stale coffee at Starbucks, but...

I’m a frequent flyer at this location and for the first time had an uncanny experience. It’s my birthday today & I received the free Biggby drink on your birthday email. Well, apparently I was told to load the free drink onto my card. I stepped out of line to try and follow the instructions from the brunette behind the counter. When it didn’t work and their website kept complaining of a module failing I asked the cashier for help who simply shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know what to tell you. I left, dissatisfied. I’m here weekly at this location and there’s nothing they can say about customer loyalty? No thanks- I’ll have to find a new coffee joint who values their customer loyalty...

They are very judgemental here and won't let people sit in the lobby to use WiFi or you know just meeting someone and you would have to buy something to order to stay I have bought things here and there . but they want you to buy here every day.they called the cops on me. because I didn't want to leave cause I was waiting on someone to meet which I wait everyday to meet that person and soon leave after .they also gossip about customers and talk about there boyfriend problems out loud the one downtown is way more welcoming and doesn't care.when i try to explain myself the manger starts to yell little did she know i was gonna buy a sanwhich but not anymore this place wants to be somthing...
