TLDR: atmosphere mid September of last year (yes, late review, sorry) was perfect. We had dinner and watched the sunset. Drinks were perfect, food was great- although I wasn’t sure about the CRAB CHEESE SPRING ROLL
We started out with drinks: KENTUCKY HEARTH (apple cider, lemon, vanilla, ginger, peychaud's bitters) an N/A cocktail that I’m sure is more delicious than if you were to add alcohol And I don’t remember!! It was yummy but I don’t see anything on the menu that resembles this drink so
I’ll just say my cocktail was amazing and you should just try everything on the menu because the selections are well thought out, delicious, and beautifully presented. We ordered the CRAB CHEESE SPRING ROLL (4) (mae ploy sweet chili sauce) which had a nice flavor but there was so much cream cheese that they were super filling and slightly off putting. We only ate one each. We also ordered the charcuterie and cheese plate, knowing it’s on the inside menu even if it’s not on the deck. It was perfect in my opinion. He was more hungry than I was so he ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR (herb grilled breast of chicken, baguette crouton, Lime caesar dressing, parmigiano) sans crouton and added grilled shrimp. The service was fantastic as always, the weather was cooperative and the views were beautiful. The music was at times a bit questionable đŸ€Ș but that’s just my personal opinion. I was happy that there was music playing and thought the volume was appropriate. Will visit again soon

My fiancĂ© and I headed here for a date night. The vibe is awesome and the Jdek is a really cool idea. The chairs outside are not comfortable at all nor are they padded. You’re basically sitting on concrete or metal. Our service was the worst part of the entire meal. Our waitress was named Alyssa and she did not seem to care one bit about our experience. She took our order and then we didn’t see her until the end of our meal when we had to ask for our check. She was also waiting on the table behind us and they had 10+ more visits to check on their meals than we ever did. The service of the manager was lackluster as well. He stopped by to bring us our food and we asked for another round of the slushy cocktail (actually very good) and they never brought it. The food was ok, at best. My fiancĂ© got the lobster roll and I got the chicken. The chicken was well cooked and had lots of flavor. The sides of frozen veggies and “lard” was awful. My fiancĂ© said her food wasn’t bad but nothing special. Overall, we are pretty disappointed. Spent $100 on a very lackluster experience. Definitely would not recommend coming back. The ambiance and location can not be beat though. That’s about all this place has going for it.

I dined at the Jdek in the dome and it was a very well put together experience. They provided a heater, speaker and lights for the dome. It was plenty warm and the lights around the dome at night added to the atmosphere. For the food, we got the wild boar dish, Scottish salmon, oyster appetizer and the old fashioned for 2. The food was amazing, I personally recommend the wild boar dish! We also got a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Overall a very fun and elegant experience. In order to improve the experience I would suggest waiting to put the water carafes in the domes until the customer sits down since the water was very warm when we got there. I would also add that the price for the cocktails are a bit expensive but I do know they use quality ingredients. For the salmon, more fennel or some type of side would have been appreciated to balance out the richness of the salmon and the sauce. The service was great, the hostesses were super friendly and our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and outgoing (I wish I remember his name because I really do appreciate his great service, he had brown hair and was wearing sunglasses.. that probably doesn’t narrow it down though đŸ«€) I do have a few complaints however, the seating arrangements being one. We were sat at a weird table with two stool like chairs, I hate not having something to lean my back against because I have back problems (which is why I often reserve a table instead of sitting at the bar to avoid being stuck with a bar stool). Our view was also hindered by a giant flower box which was disappointing and another tables view was directly to the right of us so I felt like they were just staring directly at us our entire dinner. Very awkward and uncomfortable seating. The food was also subpar. The Mexican nachos were so sparse, only the top 10 chips were even covered in cheese and the toppings were limited, barely covering half of the chips. The Cobb salad I got was very basic, the chicken was unseasoned and the toppings were sparse with an extremely bland dressing. If I visit again it’ll be for a drink only, as the food needs a lot of improvement to be worth the price. The live music was nice and relaxing, so he gets a positive...
