Long but worth the read. My associates and I are in town for business. We decided to stop by and try an alternative for steaks since we've never heard of Logan's Roadhouse. Reading on the net I saw it was comparable to the one other Roadhouse across the road. No it wasn't. The restaurant was not busy. We sat down immediately and ordered drinks. My associate's drinks were horrible. The Crown and Tonic was watered down even when he ordered a double and the Old Fashioned was an affront to all other Old Fashioneds ever made (except for those done at DoubleTree hotel Bar in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.). Full on crushed orange wedge, red cherries and all cheap throat cleaner. Good thing I ordered a coke and that's a bit harder to screw up. They couldn't even finish half their overpriced drinks.
My silverware was dirty. I didn't want to make too much of a fuzz... So I started to try and clean my knife up since I thought they were water spots. Then I saw the stuck-on caked food on it. The waitress was super nice and apologetic, switched the whole silverware set and tried to make it up by offering me a drink. Unfortunately I'm not currently drinking so I declined. She then came back and said the manager offered to comp my plate, which was also nice, and I am grateful. When I opened my second set... that knife was also dirty. I cleaned it up and made no fuzz about it but did show my associates. Our food came in. My steak was overcooked and slightly pink in the center, even when I had ordered medium rare. I didn't complain since I already knew this wasn't the place and I would never come back here again. So, I let it go. One of my associates did get a good cut of steak, properly cooked and seasoned. My other associate got a so-so sandwich that he ate because he was hungry and we were not going to go anywhere else. When the waitress came in we did tell her everything was ok because we understood that there was no point in making a big deal out of mediocre food quality and we just wanted to be done and gone. Our waitress was MAGNIFICENT. She did everything to wait on us, was always there, very attentive, very friendly,. I thank the manager for being attentive (even when they didn't even come to talk to us), and taking care of the cost for my plate... the food and drink quality however, needs SERIOUS work.
Suffice it to say, we will never set food in any Logan's again.
Maybe your experience will be different. I HOPE it will...

A friend and I visited this location earlier this evening. We were greeted and promptly shown to our dirty table. The greeter returned with a towel and wiped the table clean. There were 4 other booths empty, but we chose this one. No big deal.
Waitress put in both the appetizer and entree order at the same time, after promising she wouldn’t. We knew this because when are dinner arrived, it was warm, stiff, and unappealing.
My friend ordered the prime rib, which is advertised as being offered on the weekends. The server didn’t know that they’d run out of prime rib because she returned with the news. I asked for the manager, who apologized for running out. I told him there’s no harm in that, just asking why his servers didn’t know he wasn’t selling prime rib. He told me that he has more prime rib but that it’d take too many hours to prepare.
My friends steak was pretty good. My full rack of ribs were less than satisfactory. Not seasoned, lukewarm, and lifeless. We both ordered the 3 cheese mac & cheese for one of our sides. It isn’t homemade, which I don’t think they claim (sadly).
The server was annoyed at us for asking for napkins and silverware before we’d gotten our dinner, as if we were supposed to know that at Logan’s, people eat with their fingers and leave food dangling from their chin.
The food was lackluster. I asked for the manager (again) to discuss the quality.
Me: “Bro, what’s up with the food?” Him: “You going to have to be more specific.” Me: “Okay, the food is cold. The ribs are bland and dry. The Mac & Cheese tastes like it’s from Gordon Foods. The loaded potatoes were so cold that the cheese had hardened.” Him: “We’ll take care of it. Next time, tell us sooner.” Me: *silence
We tried eating through and around the less desirable portions of our meal, when I kid you not, my friend goes to drink from her commonplace Lemonade, a gnat is floating in her drink. We’d had it. Manager was over it. The server had already stopped coming over. She’d started sending other employees over to us.
Finally, manager says “No charge,” then walked away.
My friend fed 8/10’s of the remaining ribs to her dogs....

Read moreWe decided to go to this restaurant for my birthday on November 1 (I took my elderly parents). We arrived, and had to ask the waitress 3 times and then the manager to get menus. The waitress never checked on us. We asked for butter and rolls, and got 1 roll and 3 butters..
We all 3 ordered salads, but she forgot to bring mine. She attended to and took orders from 2 other tables and I had to flag her down to get my salad. By time I got it my parents had eaten theirs and we had been at the restaurant for 45 minutes. The waitress kept complaining she was busy and overworked, but the restaurant was only 1/6th full at most, parking lot was nearly empty, and most tables around us were empty (I took pictures)..
Our waitress continued to never check on us throughout our visit.. 2 tables with twice as many people as us that arrived after us got their food more than 20 minutes before us. I asked if there was anything done for birthdays and was told no, that we had to sign up online ahead of time (which is crazy because most places do something… scoop of ice cream or something..).
Our food took over hour and a half to get to our table.. and my meal alone was over $35 (filet with shrimp add). You’d think we’d get better service.. when it came my fries were cold. We didn’t get ketchup or steak sauce. The steak was luke warm and chewy and hard to eat like old leather. The shrimp I ordered didn’t come and I had to ask 3 times about it. The last time the waitress seemed surprised and said she’d handle it then waited on 3 tables before going anywhere to ‘handle’ it. The shrimp finally came 20 minutes later after I had ate my steak or tried too and everyone else was boxing things up. I did get rice on my plate though for no reason at all with my steak since I had no shrimp..
One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had anywhere.. and from a place we used to frequent weekly. I’ll never go to a Logan’s Roadhouse again...
