Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Grants Pass

I wish more fast food joints in South Carolina had more employees like Joshua that works at this one. He welcomed me in as soon as I opened the door(Us Carolinians are used to that). Y'all, I've been on the road driving trucks for 2 months straight and have yet to have a fast food place welcome me in like I was family like Joshua did. Made the experience a lot more enjoyable. I mentioned to him that I have never ate at a Carl's Jr before and, bless his heart, he started going 100 miles an hour. He started recommending me things and asking what I liked (in a spunky upbeat voice, not like he was forced to be there like South Carolina). I ultimately ended up choosing the super star burger. The burger came out and it looked like this burger was meant for TV! It was not squished down and falling apart like some other restaurants I go to, the lettuce was crispy and the burger was hot! Compliments to the prep table in the back, Sorry, I didn't get your name(s) :(. You got a good team there Carl's Jr, keep it up! I'll definitely make this a stop out of the way if I'm anywhere near here again. Thanks for making this good ol southern boy feel like he was walking into his mother's house about to eat...

My family pulled up to the drive-thru at Carl's Jr. on our way back home to California from our Oregon vacation at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 29th. So glad we did! I never leave reviews for a fast food restaurant, but this one was a cut above and deserves a 5-star review. For our family of 3 we ordered The Famous Star deal (buy 1, get 1 for $1), a 6 piece Chicken Stars, and a Western Bacon Cheeseburger Meal with Diet Coke. My Famous Star was the best burger I have EVER had from a fast food restaurant, possibly any restaurant! The burger was hot, the veggies looked and tasted fresh, with crisp lettuce and no chemical taste like some other fast food places. The Chicken Stars were hot and crunchy, the chicken was tender, and there was absolutely no "old fryer oil" aftertaste. My son thoroughly enjoyed his Western Burger meal and said the Diet Coke was better than our local McDonald's and the fries were fresh and hot. Went to the one on Terry Ln... Went there on Friday night, wasn't very busy...so we thought it would be quick and easy. Nope! One lady was already waiting, 3 members of the staff were sitting eating and drinking soda in the lobby with not a care in the world that people were waiting just to order...stood there for a few minutes waiting for anyone to take the lady's order, let alone our order, and got fed up and left. Went to the one on 6th St... amazing service... amazing staff...got our food quick and hot and they even learned we could special order our meal to be Keto for no extra charge! They people at the 6th St location need to train the other Carl's how to...
