It was my 40th Birthday and we went to Eureka. We decided to take a longer detour home, up the 101, across to Oregon and around back down the I-5. So we were excited when we found this place on Google cuz we were really hungry, plus we like Mom and Pop's burger shops and like to help out small businesses even though we are not from the area. But This Place!?!? Didn't even get to see how their food tasted. Waited in drive thru as the second car up to the window. Waited 8minutes from the time that we got there for someone who was working there to come up to the drive thru window. We thought the girl working there was giving the car in front of us their food but instead, just to find out that the girl was getting ready to take their order. They weren't busy at all. Only saw one other vehicle in the parking lot waiting for their food and all they brought out to them was a milkshake, then the truck left. So again not busy at all. But there were two employees out in the back of the building by the back door smoking. So we figured since it took 8minutes of waiting behind the guy who then was just putting in his order, it was going to take even longer to cook and prepare the food. Then who knows how long we would have had to wait to order our food let alone for them to cook and prepare it also. So we drove off. Not a good first impression or experience. Can't say anything about their food other then it would've probably taken 35-45 minutes to order and to get it, IN A DRIVE THRU!!! I Don't Get It. Also had no menu or menu's displayed at all that we could see. Had to use our phones to find the places menu. The waiting time is absolutely unexcusable in my opinion and I've worked in customer service for several years, as well as my husband who was with me. Maybe there was no manager there and if there was then that manager needs to take a class in customer service training. Just saying. Not good...
Read moreUpdate July 9 2021, Shout out to Brad who kept going above and beyond with stellar service. The girls did too but I didn't catch their names. We just stopped by, now middle of summer. All outdoor seating is shaded 100% AND has misters around the edges. Large 5 gallon container filled with ice cold water so you can refill your water cups or doggie's bowl in our case. All covid restrictions are lifted so there's also plenty of seating inside but we sat outside under the wonderful misters with our dog. I had the La Bamba because I LOVE green chile on burgers and most places don't have as an option. Great burger! Love this place and service is awesome!
Earlier post- We're from out-of-town and Googled fast food places and Jimmy's popped up. We gave it a try and so glad we did! 3 of us got a Jimmy's Classic burger with cheese , fries and sodas. Their burgers are delicious! Turns out they use fresh ground beef from Oregon and it's delivered twice a week! They really are amazing! A classic burger, fries and soda is about $12. My daughter got a GTO which is their BLT which she enjoyed. My husband got the Rueben and enjoyed it. Mint chip shake is super thick! Employees were friendly and went above and beyond to wait on us. Currently, they offer inside dining, max 7 people. Outside dining had canopies with 8 large picnic tables (about 8 people could fit at one table) with bench seats and heaters. They are pet friendly. Our leashed dog laid under our table and they offered to bring her water. Locked bathrooms around back, get the key from inside. Parking lot offered plenty of spaces. Place stayed consistently busy, a popular place for locals. They offer gluten free buns which made my daughter's friend super happy since she's allergic. Will definitely stop again when we're passing...
Read moreI do not typically do reviews unless there is a specific area that stands out to me having worked in food service for my entire adult life. When I say I was impressed with this place, I mean IMPRESSED! It's tiny but there is plenty of outdoor seating and the decor is typical 50's style diner. The burgers come in 2 sizes, big burger and smaller burger. I had the Green Eyed Lady (avocado, bacon cheeseburger) in the smaller size and my other half had the Barbie ( onion ring, BBQ sauce, bacon cheeseburger) in the big burger. These burgers did not disappoint in ANY WAY. Freshly pressed burger patties and fresh veggies for starters. There had to have been a half of an avocado on my burger. The best, and I mean B E S T pickle fries I've ever eaten, and probably the best thing I've eaten in 2 years. Giant pickle sliced into 4 cornmeal coated pieces of heaven. Dipped in ranch! So good! Not to mention that the owner, Tarrell (like Darrell with a T) was in there working, checking on the tables, making small talk. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. This is Grants Pass's hidden gem as far as I am concerned! OH! Did I forget to me tonight the Umpqua Dairy milkshakes? I couldn't have any but it's an actual milkshake, not from a machine. Thank you, Jimmy's for an unforgettable meal...
