The pizza was great but I can't get behind the way you slice it. Rather than roughly triangular shapes radiating from the center, I got a lattice-like criss-cut chaos pizza. Next time I'll be sure to ask them to slice it through the middle.

Pies, including pizza, have been around for generations and have generally followed the same cutting pattern. Cut the diameter through the center of the pizza an even number of times, and end up with roughly equal sizes of pizza. It's simple and it's easily divisible. If in a group, everyone can easily take a slice of two. If an individual is putting down the whole pie, well that helps with portion control, and makes it easy to pack some for lunch the next day. I must say, I'm glad this was for me alone tonight, as sharing this pizza with others would be inconvenient at best, perhaps party ruined, or a failed marriage at worst.

Whatever this chaos cut y'all do is cute and fun, but I have to say it really takes away from the whole pizza experience. You hold the crust - it keeps you from getting greasy fungers. You eat the crust - dip it in ranch and decide if you really need another slice. The quintessential pizza slice is this isosceles triangle with a rounded base. Ask anyone to draw draw pizza and I bet 95% of them will draw this! Beginner skiiers rely on this shape! Stickers! Erasers! Earrings! I ask you Wild Rivers, why re-invent the wheel? If you must, I suggest you inform your patrons how the pizza is sliced, and give them an option for traditional. That way we can preserve the utility of food we call pizza that brings people together and lifts personal spirits.

This has become our families favorite place to dine. This place has the room for almost any size party (with notice) with four different dining areas to choose from. Lots of light with big picture windows, and a nice veiw of the forrested mountains if you dine upstairs. The manager is quick to move tables around to accommodate one person or a group of twenty. Our wait has never been more then five minutes. The wait staff is usually cute girls in thier 20's and 30's who are friendly and sweet. My kids love the kid's menu that comes with crayons for them to color and draw thier own pictures. If they get restless, there are a few arcade games near the restrooms. The restrooms are always clean (except for the overflow of paper towels in the trash). We always order a starter beer-battered pub fries, which comes to the table a few minutes after the drinks. Sometimes they can be over cooked or greesy, but they are happy to exchange them if you just let them know. They offer an assortment of in-house beers that they allow you to sample to see what you like before ordering a glass. We like the house Rootbeer, which we usually get as a Rootbeer float. It's especially nice when we get a pitcher filled with Rootbeer to refill our own glasses. However, the wait staff is by pretty regularly to keep your soda glass full. Our favorite food is the pizza, of course. Only this Wild River features a wood burning oven that gives the pizza a smoked flavor that is...

I have never been more disappointed by a “family owned and locally sourced” restaurant. This place is clearly lacking in many areas from the organization to the food to the poorly trained staff and the worst of it all the general manager. If this place is going to serve mediocre food at a fine dining price they should at least take some pride in the taste and presentation of their entrees. I don’t know how they can get away with charging $45 for a pizza that comes out severely over cooked and sloppy. The noise in this place is unreal I know it’s a big restaurant but it wasn’t even the volume of the guests that was disturbing it was the food runner squealing like a hyena every time she laughed. I think the worst part of our whole experience here was trying to talk with the general manager. She lacked personality and tact. Talking to her about our issues was utterly pointless and she is the main reason we will never return. I thought you had to have some respect and care for customers to run a restaurant but it’s apparent here that you do not. From reading other reviews I saw that she previously served pizza off the floor and I was appalled to hear that someone who would do such a atrocious thing would be in charge of running the restaurant. Whoever her boss is should be ashamed I would be embarrassed to have an employee let alone a general manager like her. It’s obvious that money comes first and good customer service and quality...

Came here on a Sunday evening with a party of 7, we requested to sit outside and were told there would be a small wait. No problem. After waiting about 10 minutes and seeing another group be seated outside who came in after us (all tables are the same size) we went back in to check in. The server brought us over to a corner table and sat us down. The menu was really large and many of us had a hard time deciding what to eat. The prices were a little higher than expected but seemed to be worth it for the quality of food. The service was VERY slow and non attentive. We had to request for the patio lights to be turned on as it was pretty dark out at this point. All our food came out a separate times which was not that big of a deal but was noticeable. My friend and I split a pizza and were surprised it was cut up into little bit sizes pieces. I have never seen a pizza cut like that before but it was actually pretty cool to be able to just grab little bits at a time. The flavor was good and it wasn't overly greasy. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy with their meals. The server took a bit longer to come offer us boxes and our checks but was very nice. I think I would for sure come back again, hopefully the staff will be a little more attentive.
