Palumbo's Italian Market — Restaurant in Granville Township

The food is excellent and the service is top notch at Palumbo's Italian Market. I live out of state and my parents live in Granville. I was looking for a unique birthday gift for my mother and just another restaurant gift card seemed old and tired. After searching online, I found that Palumbo's has takeout orders, and a photo on Google caught my eye. The Dinner for Two special includes 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 2 desserts for only $22! That's an incredible deal for a tasty dinner for two people! I called the restaurant and added a bottle of wine to my order to round out the special meal. Kate made the wine recommendation, and best of all, she offered to deliver the surprise meal to my parents on her way home from work since she drives right by my parents' place. Our daughter wanted Italian food for her graduation party and I knew that was not my specialty. So we did our research and made a call to Palumbo’s. We had a meeting with Kate and told her what we wanted for our daughter‘s party and how much we were looking to spend. She was very helpful with ideas and guiding us with how much we needed to order. She was here on time and effortlessly set it all up. We had ordered several pasta dishes, charcuterie boards and fresh bread with dipping oil and some stuffed mushrooms. We also ordered some delicious desserts. Kate made it look just beautiful. Everything was absolutely perfect. People raved about the food. I will not hesitate to go with Palumbo’s when we have another event. The prices were reasonable. The food was out of this world, and the professionalism was above and beyond. Polumbo’s is an Italian artisan market that gives you the charm of a local deli but has a wide array of tasty sandwiches, sides and dinners. We have had all of the sandwiches which are all very good. My wife’s favorite is The Jacster (turkey provolone, sun dried tomato & basil) while I prefer The Cindy (prosciutto, salami, capicolo ,provolone & the most wonderful pesto spread). We also enjoy their side dishes particularly the broccoli salad & Italian pasta salad ( chock full of chunks of pepperoni & provolone and olives.) Both are very good however the Caprese salad with its delightful balsamic / olive oil dressing is even better. You can also pick up a nice bottle of wine to enhance your meal.
