My partner and I tried this place on a whim after a long day, and we are so glad we did. This place is amazing.
To start, the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. It is genuinely some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The garlic knots they set as table bread were so dense and flavorful they could be an appetizer all on their own. The red sauce was phenomenal. We got entrees and each came with a house salad as a starter and the Red Wine Vinegar dressing was legitimately AMAZING. It was phenomenal. We got fried ravioli as our starter and they were so good. The ricotta was perfectly seasoned and the ravioli were fried to perfection with awesome breading with herbs and Parmesan cheese. Our entrees came out and they were mountains of food and they were absolutely delicious. I got chicken parmigiana and my partner got tortellini in vodka sauce. We also got a calzone to split and didn’t expect it to be as huge and delicious as it was. The sauce is all house made, the chicken parmigiana was quite frankly the best I’ve ever had, and the calzone was stuffed to bursting with ricotta and was phenomenal. Everything was delicious and in heaping portions that left even me, a notorious black hole, tapping out. We had plenty of leftovers to take home to enjoy later. We got cannoli for dessert and while I have never liked cannoli, I’ve also never had a cannoli like THAT. It was just as surprising and wonderful as everything else. 5/5 stars for food and quality.
Our service was top-notch. Our server was perfectly attentive, honest, funny, and very kind to us. I wish I had caught her name but she was wonderful. Our food was out relatively quickly, but with the courses, conversation, and her attentiveness it felt fast as you’d like it to be. Never had to ask for anything, never had to call her over but not in a disturbing or overbearing way. She also told great stories and had recommendations that were perfect. 5/5
Atmosphere is to be expected from a hole in the wall restaurant, in my opinion you aren’t coming for the looks, you’re coming to get FED. It’s definitely more working-class than bougie, and that’s more our style. Perfect for after work or as a day trip, but maybe not for prom night. Family restaurant through and through. 5/5
We had such good food and experience that even though we’re not in Grapevine ourselves, my partner and I have agreed that any time we have to go to Dallas it’s worth stopping in Grapevine just for the food and service. We absolutely will be returning. I normally HATE writing reviews, but this place was truly worth it. I cannot sing its praises enough. If you’re in Grapevine or just traveling through, it’s...
Read more(If I could give 6 🌟 I would!) We wanted to host a networking wine event in the area, found Amores online, they're BYOB so scoped in person. Don't let the non descript strip center fool you, it's chock full of quaint charm, atmosphere, and appropriate music. Brandon, owner, greeted me, I told him what we were looking for and he said "DONE! Whatever you need!" We did a pre meet to sample the menu and Lisa, our wait person/hostess was fabulous explaining the 40+ yr history, the menu thoroughly, the original recipes, longtime chef, and "what do you need for the event? DONE!" The chicken Alfredo pizza blew us away, calamari and antipasta salad were fresh and perfect But what starts all this epicurean love ❤️ are the fresh rolls with homemade (5 hrs!) Marinara sauce 🥳 The event execution was beyond our expectations (see pics) Attendees were so thrilled they ordered more food to go Grapevine, you have a GEM in Amore's!! DFW: absolutely 💯 worth the drive from...

You can actually taste Lobster unlike many commercial Lobster ravs that are over salted and over seasoned to make you think you're getting the real deal. Not so with Amore's entrée.
These Lobster ravs will smack you in the face with so much flavor that your ancestors will wake up and want some too.
Get the garlic bread with cheese to mop up any leftover sauce. This was a treat in itself.
Thank you, Lisa and Jennifer. Carol and I had a...
