DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NAME, LIKE WE DID!!! IF you're still thinking about drinking and/or eating at this place, go through the line, as if you're ordering it to go, find a seat/table, and when they bring it out to you, THEN eat it there. DON'T just sit down, for "Dine-In", even as instructed, since the Server won't get to you for a LONG time, not even to acknowledge you!!! Much more, get drink orders, and food orders!!! IF you were to sit down, for "Dine-In", a Server has to "open a tab for you", before you can order!!! So! Not only will you have to wait for a Server to acknowledge you, but now, you have to wait for that Server to "open a tab for you"!!! IF and hopefully WHEN, she FINALLY does, and when you scan the QR code on the table, and place your order through your phone, the food thankfully comes out pretty fast. BUT! Don't expect a GOOD burger (for $11) and/or a side of fries (for $5), cause you WILL be disappointed!!! Also, said Server won't check up on you, and when she FINALLY does, as you're towards the end of your meal, don't bother asking for more ketchup, to finish up your $5 side of fries...She'll forget and be busy inputting her tips. We were so appalled by how horrible this place was, we lost our "appetite", didn't even finish our $5 side of fries, and just left. Thankful we were able to pay through our phone, cause who knows how long it'd take for her to input her tips, bring us our check, run our credit card, and come back with it. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY AND GO...
Read moreHad PLENTY of time before takeoff and wanted real food for dinner before my 3-hour flight. Reviews for Love Shack were highest of those on here for eateries near my gate. Kwemanna was an excellent, engaged staff member at the counter, humoring me in my indecision (no one was behind me in line yet) and helping me make up my mind to go with the Dirty Love Burger, since it's less mess than the other I was considering (Love in the Boom Room), and I'm traveling light. He didn't steer me wrong! Turns out he was about to go on dinner break himself and stuck around to enjoy some Love Shack grub himself before going for a walk (I consider it a good sign when employees don't flee for other eateries on their breaks). I'm not usually a huge fan of American cheese on burgers (prefer cheddar), but with the bacon and quail egg, it worked perfectly. Beef was juicy without dropping, bacon was nicely crispy, and the iceberg lettuce was perfectly shredded. The airport mark-up here isn't terrible, for just the right amount of food, since I'd had a late lunch and heeded warnings on here to steer clear of the onion rings and fries. Will definitely return next time I'm flying out of E around lunch or dinner without time to eat...
Read moreThe bartender stole my change when I paid in cash, and then was extremely rude when I asked for a receipt. I would’ve tipped anyway, but I expect to at least be given back my change before I volunteer a tip. That’s how it works, tipping is voluntary.
The entitlement to feel that you’re just owed a tip when all you’ve done is hand me a beer - which you’ve already been paid to do - is just a demonstration of how far spoilt we’ve become as a society.
I left the change in the end, after being given it back reluctantly. It’s not the $3 that matters to me, if the bartender needs money so bad she’s stealing from people - then she can have it.
It’s the lack of morality and the blatant dishonesty that goes with helping yourself to somebody else’s wallet that bothers me.
Half of my friends are servers, I get it, everybody’s struggling right now - I used to be a bartender... but I wouldn’t dream of arguing with a customer in such a rude and entitled matter especially if I’d openly stolen from them. The disrespect is insane. I’m not usually one to complain, but I don’t expect to be treated rudely for looking at my change...
